Stitch's Great Escape... what the heck was that?

I'm very sensitive to smells and I know if I actually went on this attraction I'd probably be very nausiated (possibly sick) afterwards. :sad2:

I am one the very few on this board that actually likes the Stitch ride. I am unsure why I like it, but I do.:confused3

I like it too!!! I mean it's not one of my fav's but I really enjoyes it!:confused3 I love Stitch and I thought it was cute and funny.:rolleyes1

The restraints are in place to keep visitors from fleeing from this awful attraction!

Those darn restraints actually hurt my shoulders throughout the entire attraction. My son felt like he was having an asthma attack after the ride and he doesn't even have asthma!

I remember Mission to Mars being incredibly long and boring. Then I hated Alien Encounter and am not at all crazy about Stitch. The only thing I like about it is the cool Stitch audioanimatronic. I rode it once in 2005 and that was it for me. I think this spot in Tomorrowland is doomed to have bad rides!!!!

Stitch was terrible. We went once & that was enough!:upsidedow

Everytime I walk by there & see standby lines of 20 minutes or more I can't help feel bad for the people waiting who don't know how much time they are about to waste.

I love Stitch, he's one of my favorite characters, but I can't stand this attraction. It's pretty disgusting and I found it to be kind of pointless. I think Disney could do something better with that space.

The Stitch "ride" is by far the worst thing on offer at the world. I tell everyone to skip it. But then again, Stitch is probably the most annoying character in the entire Disney portfolio.

:confused3 :confused3 I like the ride.

I'm not a big stitch fan as in the movie or character but like this ride.

This Is Always a "hot topic" LOL ... Personally i dont think its a Bad attraction.. its just " unusual " and its meant to be that way , thats Stitchs Character .Its supposed to be Funny . I guess it depends how big of Stitch fan you are .. I give it a 6 or 7 out of 10 for a review. ...

But we LOVE Lilo & Stitch. The characters and the movies. I guess I agree with a previous poster who said they deserve a better attraction than this one.

My DF and I found it entertaining, but I wouldn't necessarily say it's a must see. It was definitely fun to do it at least once. :thumbsup2

Oh Stich's Great Escape-one ride that should've have never been.:sad2:

It's definitely not an "oh my god we have to do this ride!" kind of attraction but I don't think it's all that bad. The effects of feeling like stitch is right behind you breathing down your neck is kind of cool, and the Stitch inside the ride is amazing. We find it humorous and if we don't have anything else left to do in Tomorrowland and the line is short, we ride it.

I guess I don't get why people hate it so much :confused3

The ride was hyped up for me because I knew that my young nephew wouldn't go back on it and cried when he got off. So that made me think this ride was going to spin, or go fast or be bumpy or have stuff jump out at you or something....

NO... It's like sound's dangerous but less coherent... I didn't know what was really going on or what my reaction to this was supposed to be... Am I supposed to frightened of stich... is the ride not workly properly... Why is nothing happening???/

Yeah it's horrible in the sense that it's not entertaining, and unless you know the story behind the ride before hand you don't even realize that the ride is going on while you are doing it... It seems like one giant pre-show.

END RANT..

I'm sure that space is hard to play with because it's not all that big, and you have restaraunts and gift shops attached to it as well as the people mover on top of it, but jeez... I'm sure disney could figure something better than that...

You took the words right out of my mouth. :thumbsup2

I would like to see the little guy have a better ride though. I think he would make an excellent dark ride, a la Snow White or Pooh.

When It was the alien one It was freaky but cool.

As for stitch my mom hated it and same with me because we got "spit" on. :l

The AE one actually "scared" me but so does the dino ride at AK. I disliked the Stitches one pretty bad due to 1) thought it was lame and 2) there is an odor that is given off (I think its the bad breath one or something) almost made me throw up. But there are some folks who really like it so it must be appealing to some.

I don't loooove this ride but I don't hate it either. I would be sad to see it go and have it filled in with something moronic like Monster's Inc. Laugh Factory. Now that was a waste of time. At least the Stitch ride was entertaining and I like Stitch. I'm all for new things and I am intriged by a stitch ride idea. What would be the concept and what kind of ride would it be?

See, this just goes to show me that there really is something for everyone. We LOVE the Laugh Floor and do it several times a trip! It's something a little different every time because of the audience and their reactions, we always think it's a hoot!

Honestly, if you're debating doing Stitch, don't listen to anyone else. Just go and do it. You're the only one that will ultimately decide if you like it or not, no matter what anyone else says. Don't go into it with super expectations, you most likely will be disappointed. And that's for any ride, from Stitch to Everest. You may find that your experience jives with the experiences here, or you may find that you really do like the ride.

Really? You think so? We enjoyed it. I don't know if we'd do it again any time soon, but it was pretty cute.

Well, like I said, I think it could be a dark ride like Peter Pan or Snow White. You'd get in your little car, and off you'd go! I think they could do the whole movie pretty well; start off on the alien planet, Stitch escapes, move through the adoption at the dog pound, have a singing/guitar playing Stitch, spend sometime surfing, have the big guy from CPS, Mr. Bubbles(?) lurking around, as well as Jumba and Pleakley, then have the explosion at the house and Capt. Gantu taking Stitch and Lilo away, then the rescue, and then at the very end as you go out, scenes of the happy family along with the aliens and Mr. Bubbles.

Of course it would never fit in the tiny space that they've got him in now, but it would be better than what we fans of the little guy have to put up. :stitch:
