Day 3 An AMAZING Evening Part 3
Our next course was our main course. And boy, OH BOY, was it good. My main course consisted of a very tender (melt in your mouth)grilled filet accompanied by sautéed shrimp and mushrooms, served
with sautéed brocollini and roasted potatoes and topped with a rich saffron cream sauce . *I am drooling just thinking of it!*
The chef couldn't have done a better job in designing a dish just for me. I enjoyed every single bite. And more importantly,
Stitch loved his plate full of goodness. The chef really outdid himself with
Stitch's meal because he was able to keep everything plain yet make it all so tasty. He really listened to the tastes/likes of
Stitch and kept to them while creating his meal.
Stitch dined on very tender grilled filet accompanied by homemade french fries, corn and corn bread.
Stitch gave his main course his clean plate seal of approval!
In keeping with how right on everything about the evening was, our wonderful butler (one of my favorite CMs ever) had timed our meal so that we were just finishing up with our main courses as Wishes started. Before Stitch's surprise dessert was brought out, we sat and enjoyed just being with each other (he was cuddled up in my lap) while we watched Wishes.
As we cuddled together, I was really looking forward to his next surprise. Six (out of seven) of his past birthday cakes have shared the same theme, Toy Story. He is a huge Toy Story fan. Coming up with a theme to request for his dessert was a total no brainer! Having only given them a theme and a budget, I had no idea what the final creation would look like (I had a few 'hints' by the way of questions about things we did or did not like taste wise...but that was it). When I saw it, I was speechless. Me...the girl who could take two paragraphs to describe waiting in line for a ride. Ha ha.
It was one amazing tray of Toy Story goodness!
The tray included frosted sugar cookie sheriff's badges, Woody printed on white chocolate, a solid chocolate fence (with crunchy little sugar bushes in front of it) and a horseshoe (which was dusted with gold powder), coconut haystacks, a chocolate boot (with a snake wrapped around it..."there's a snake in my boot") filled with strawberries and fresh whipped cream *OH SO GOOD!*. That was just the "Woody's Round Up" portion of the tray.
The boot even had designs on it like embossed leather.
Snacking on a sheriff badge.
Next came the "Toys" portion which included orange safety cones which were really vanilla cake covered in orange fondant (with butter cream frosting underneath), carrot cake 'tables' from Pizza Planet with white cream cheesy tasting tablecloths and tiny little slices of pepperoni pizza (made by hand out of something like fruit leather, gummy stuff and white chocolate shavings for the cheese) and 'the gang' of toys were screened on to yet another piece of white chocolate.
