Day 2...Continued!
Our first stop was Club Cool. It's the first time we stopped to enjoy the taste testing at EPCOT. However, it was the same selection as we sampled at the Coca Cola Museum in Atlanta. We once again had a lot of fun doing it. My favorite flavor was the one from Mexico. It was very cool, light and refreshing. We spent about ten minutes testing, mixing different flavors together and then trying them out again. Sorry, no Beverly pictures here. Stitch all too well remembered it from our test testing in Atlanta. Ha ha ha.
After way too much soda, we headed back out to redo a few of our favorites. Figment was tops on Stitch's list, so it was the first place we headed. Here are some photos we took along the way.
Then we had a left over fast pass for Test Track to use so we took one last wild ride. I have to laugh...but just how did this picture posted in the test track fast pass queue area pass the Disney censors?
Stitch as we were waiting to enter the TT pre show.
After riding TT one last time, we were ready to call it a day (and it wasn't even dinner time yet). By we, I mean Stitch, he was much more interested on heading back to the resort to do a bit of relaxing (and since this was his 'party', I was letting him call almost all of the shots). He wanted to stop and look for some toys on our way out and while we were in the store I saw (and had to buy one) these wonderfully "DISish" Mickey ears! LIME GREEN MICKEY EARS! How awesome is that?! I think they may have just been a St. Patrick's Day offering...has anyone seen them since? I wish I would have bought a few more of them when I saw them (they would make great surprises for a few DISers I know).
My little DISer-in-training.
As we continued to make our way out of the park we stopped once again to enjoy Spaceship Earth. I didn't take any video this time (I forgot to change the setting from snapshots to movies and couldn't find the right button in the dark) but I did snap a picture of our 'flying heads' on the big screen after you exit the ride. I am the one of the bottom and ds is the higher one. Sorry for the poor picture quality.
On our way out we once again stopped for some photopass pictures.
One quick bus ride later (thank you Casitas bus stop for being the first stop on the way back) and an even quicker walk from the bus stop to our building and we were back at our room. Upon arrival we found one very friendly and brightly adorned towel creation awaiting our return.
Stitch absolutely loved him! Stitch named him T.C. (short for Towel Clown
).
A view of the room (and a very happy boy).
Another view of the room.
The wooden doors were on rollers. You could close off the bathroom/dressing area from the rest of the room.
After a two hour nap (which both of us throughly enjoyed) we made our way down to El Centro and once again dined at the Pepper Market where I enjoyed tasty beef fajitas while Stitch once again had the kid's pizza meal.
We followed dinner up with some more shopping (the CSR has a very big gift shop) and a slow stroll around the resort. We stopped to soak our feet in the hot tub and it felt divine doing so.
Finally, we headed back to our room, turned on Disney Channel and watched Hannah Montana and Wizards of Waverly Place (yes, Stitch will, in fact, admit that he enjoys these shows
). After a an hour of each show, we were ready to call it a night.
Tomorrow we had a big day planned at one of Stitch's very favorite places...Disney's Animal Kingdom!
