Once the Welcome Show was over, the lines to get in the gates were long. Stitch was already on my case "I told you to get in line, but you didn't listen!" Blah, blah, blah (by the way, this happened the whole trip! I was determined NOT to let it ruin my vacation at my happy place!!!) I just found a shorter line and got in it. We were quickly herded under the train tracks and into Town Square in what I called "Mad Cow Disease!"
We had to wait for a horse-drawn cart to pass, and then we continued our walk up Main Street on our way to Tomorrowland. Finally, I saw my beloved castle!!!
The Christmas decorations were beautiful! I was so excited!! I started shooting random shoots of Main Street because I wanted to remember every moment of this vacation and with a digital camera, you can!
We finally made it past Main Street where I could a semi-decent picture of the castle.
Don't you love the trash can right in the middle??
On to Tomorrowland and Space Mountain!
Well, the wait for Space Mountain said 30 minutes, but the line exteneded out the door, past the FP machines and almost under the TTA tracks! We decided to FP it, but those lines were awful, too! Stitch was still upset- the crowds aren't his thing! We finally got our FP for SM to come back around 10:30.
Stitch was begging to go eat, but I saw Carousel of Progress. I HAD to ride it since it was one of the first rides made for WDW. The was only about six people in line. We jumped in just as they opened the doors! It was cute! I don't remember seeing it (but my mom seems to think we rode it ages ago!)
Afterwards, I was ready to keep going, but Stitch is groaning, "Can we go eat now!" Yes, of course. Maybe if I get Stitch fed, he'll stop grousing and have a good time.
We headed back to Main Street. We saw a Photopass photographer on the bridge from Tomorrowland. We stopped and got some good pics. (I dont' have my CD yet. I'll post them when I can!)
On to Main Street and the Main Street Bakery. All the while, I hear from Stitch, "Where are we going?" "Do you know where you are going?" "Where is it?" Well, I was pretty sure I knew where it was, but I just told Stitch I knew where it was.
We arrived to find a long line. I settled in- isn't Disney World all about waiting in lines??
Lights at MSB!
Cute Display!
We decided on 2 Breakfast Sandwiches and a ginormous Cinnamon Roll! When we got to the register, we explained to the guy that we had the dinning plan, but we didn't know how it worked. He explained that each sandwich was an entry and then we each got a dessert. The cinnamon roll counted as one- what other did we want? We decided on a crum cake. He rang us up. Stitch went to get a table while I went back to get my crumb cake!
Once we sat down, Stitch asked if I wanted a picture.

Of course!
The sandwiches and cinnamon roll were yummy. We were stuffed, so we saved the crumb cake until later by putting into the camera bag.
By the time we finished breakfast, it was time to return to SM for our FP!! We headed back to Tomorrowland. We were early, so we stopped to shop and look around.
We sat by SM because the guy wouldn't let us on at 10:30- we had to wait until our exactl FP time of 10:35. Once it was 10:35, we walked right on in. We by-passed the whole line and ended up on the right hand side of the ride. (this will come into play much later!). We were waiting, and the CMs came around asking for a party of 2. They let us right on the ride! Sweet!!! I thought only single riders got special treatment!
I lvoed the ride. Stitch said "It was OK." (This became his normal reply to every ride!)
