Just found these videos online of a new stitch show apparently being shown in Japan. DH and I are big fans of the lilo and stitch Series here in the US. So this is a treat. For those who are also fans of the show the large size tourist that always looses his ice cream still can't catch a break in the Japan version. :goodvibes

The videos have english subtitles added to them. :thumbsup2

The show isn't bad just can't figure where it would fit in with the movies or the American series. The american series we know is a continuation of the movies but this Japan show just doesn't seem to fit in the story line. Guess it is not ment too or supposed to. :confused3

I found out about Stitch! on the DC Japan site. This time, it takes place in Okinawa. Looks like a great show; I hope they bring over to DC in the states!

I'm surprised I didn't see this when I went to TDL earlier this summer. Its not a surprise to me that the Japanese woud change the storyline to fit with there beliefs. In Tokyo DisneySea there is a little mermaid show, but nobody in the states would recognize the storyline: Ariel goes to see Ursula but then after Ursula sings "Poor unfortunate soul" Sebastian shows up and tells Ariel not to leave and reminds her that her father told her not to then Ariel just says "ok".:confused3 They change it so that it will fit with the Japanese strict belief of obeying your elders. Also the princesses aren't as popular in Japan as in the states because they don't like the "rags to riches" story.
