OMG I never thought of the companion bathroom! I usually just wait until we go back to change for swimming or something. Once I leave my room in the morning it waits until I am back in the room again! What can I say, I'm into my privacy!

I know! My body normally waits too - but Ive had a few times I needed those companion bathrooms.

I'm so glad I'm not the only private pooper.

And I agree, going with other people sucks. Sad to say evern with my husband isn't as good as going with my family. We grew up on Disney. We're addicted, we're amped, and we're rope droppers.

DH worked there. he is jaded and gets tired blah blah blah. He sucks some of the fun out of it.

Hi girls. I'm having a lazy weekend! Watched a lot of sports on tv and I'm attempting to clean bathrooms now.

Last night we watched the Washington Huskies mens basketball team win the PAC-10 championship. One of their starting players is from our town and we know him a little bit so it is very exciting.

We only get to have 3 days in the parks this time. I'm dissapointed because we have 5 nights at the hotel, but we have some other things on the agenda so we are only getting a 3 day hopper. If it were up to me we would get a 6 day pass and make the most of every minute!

I'll look forward to trying the wine. I had stopped drinking wine completely about 5 or 6 months ago because I got bad headaches from it, even only one glass would do it. But I recently found a medication called Chasers and now I'm back in the game!!!!!!!!!!!

We loved Toy Story Mania at WDW so I'm anxious to see if it's the same.

Can anyone answer this question? If I have a 3 day hopper do I have to use the days consecutively? This is never a problem at WDW because I always get a pass for the number of days I'm going to be there and even if I go the Sea World or something we still go in one of the Disney parks for the night when we get back. I really wanted to do a 4 day pass at Disneyland for this same reason, but FIL can get us a military pass 3-day hopper for $91 and a 4 day pass is $164 so DH says no way are we putting up the difference in that for a possible ride or two after we go to Knott's Berry Farm. Bummer!

Nothing new around here except it is freezing outside today! It was 60 yesterday, 30 today. BRRRR! We got a lot of rain over the weekend too so there is some flooding going on. We got a little water in our basement, very little, so nothing was ruined.

The time change screwed me up. We had a very late night on Sat for my sister's 40th so I was dying on Sunday. I had to be productive though b/c Abby had a b-day party so we went to Sam's Club and Kohls while she was at the party. It wasn't worth driving all the way back home kind of thing. My sister's party was a lot of fun though. The band was really good. We were there from 8 til close which was 1 or 2? I can't remember.

Ok, hopefully one of you will come talk to me so I'm not talking to myself.

Can anyone answer this question? If I have a 3 day hopper do I have to use the days consecutively? This is never a problem at WDW because I always get a pass for the number of days I'm going to be there and even if I go the Sea World or something we still go in one of the Disney parks for the night when we get back. I really wanted to do a 4 day pass at Disneyland for this same reason, but FIL can get us a military pass 3-day hopper for $91 and a 4 day pass is $164 so DH says no way are we putting up the difference in that for a possible ride or two after we go to Knott's Berry Farm. Bummer!

I love heels. I wear 3 inch heels almost all the time, to work, grocery shopping, whatever. I even wear sandals with heels. I even wear them to Disney. I'm one of those crazy people they talk about all the time in those *who wears heels at Disney World* threads. (Not all the time at Disney, but some, definitely out for dinner.) I love heels. but 4 inches is just a bit too tall sometimes.
I guess I'm a lot less boring than I thought!

When I see those people...I just shake my head....I like comfy shoes.
If I do wear heels its low, not very high.

Xena - 4 inch heels! I'd break both my ankles in 1 minute. I'm not a heel girl at all. I go for the smallest heel when I have to wear them.

Well the wknd is over. But I went to this place called DISNEYLAND!! Saw Whoopi Goldberg & now I am conviced that it was Miley Cyrus!! I had fantabulous time!! We did a scavvy hunt Saturday morning & had breakfast at Storytellers, I had Beignets for the first time, YUMMO!! Sunday morning I went on the Segway tour!! That was so fun!!

Glad you're back! I avoid most of the CB. I check in with you guys and a few other threads and browse the CB for interesting threads that are fun but not serious, KWIM?

I just lurk on the CB thread...it can get pretty scary around there!!

Uh oh. I'm drunk dissing or is it dising? Anyway, funny story at bowling, but you had to be there. We have a mystery pot where you put in $2 and then they pick a number. If your score matches, you win the pot. The pot is usually around $60 so not bad for $2. Last year was our first year in the league and I won the very first time. Never won again. So, our team has not won all year. Tonight, I'm looking at our sheet and they call a 141. I had a 149, so I'm like bummer. Then I notice Kat won on our team. Yeah! So, I yell, "Kat, you won!" She ended up having to split with someone so she won $30. A round on her next week, yeah! So, they are getting ready for the second game number. Wendy on my team is like, "I'm not putting in next week. I never f 'in win." Then, they call a 136. I start screaming, "Wendy, you won. Woo Hoo! You won." I was so frickin excited. I'm not even kidding the whole bowling alley was looking at me. It was like we won the Mega Millions or something. Ok, done. Like I said, you had to be there. I could have been screaming like that b/c of the cocktails.

Joey didnt want to go (in 2006) Which killed me - the kid was raised on Disney!!!!!! BLASPHEMEMY!!!! But he was totally teenager that trip.

We were going for 10 days. My punk kid thought - for some ridiculously CRAZY reason - we were only going 5.

I finally booked! WOO HOO!

I'm glad I waited b/c the price dropped by $200 today.

It is so inexpensive, it is crazy.

We are only paying $1834 total for 3 of us, 7 nights, all inclusive, direct flights. How crazy is that?

It would have cost us about $1,000 more to go to Mexico. So, I'm very happy! Plus, we are only 10 minutes from the airport in Jamaica!

The travel agent thought her screen was broken b/c she couldn't believe the price was so low. She also told me she has a ton of families that go there and they all love it!

We have done Knotts lots of times and the kids love it. I would skip all other parks but Disney if it were up to me, but I'm outnumbered!

I don't think FIL can get the same deal B/C it's a special that was just for this month or something and it says you have to be with the military person. That's one of the reasons they are "tagging along". We don't see how that could be enforced. Someone could be in the room still, or already in the park, or going to DCA when you go to DL... So we are going to test it out on the first day and see if they ask us where the military person is. If they don't I think the inlaws are leaving. *crosses fingers*!!!!

Our resort was 2 hours from the airport in Jamaica. At first that was kind of a bummer, but I told my DH I would not give back that two hours now. That was some of the most amazing sights I ever saw. Both beautiful land and water, and also unbelievable to see some of their villages and see how they live. Worst living conditions I ever saw.
