Hi everyone! What's everyone doing tonight?

I need to call my grandmother to find out what colors she is using this year so I can buy wrapping paper accordingly. She's very OCD about stuff matching, and if the paper doesn't match, the presents don't go under the tree. It's weird, but whatever.

I also have to think of two or three appetizers to make for Chirstmas as well, I was thinking of doing several different dips, since they're easy to make, and will travel well.

I also need to buy a "nice" jacket, for church. Apparently the one I have is too casual, and I need a fancier one. This is another one of my grandmother's "requests." I did see a nice black one at Macy's but it was over $200 and I really don't feel like spending that much on a jacket that I won't get a lot of wear out of. I just don't dress up that much, and there's nothing wrong with the one I have it's just not that dressy, but I've seen a lot less fancy in church, so I don't know what the problem is with it.

Seriously, if you really want to go, I'll buy your ticket. It's the least I can do since you are giving me a X-mas present, a CD of music, and those wonderful hangers. DH probably would love to NOT come so it will probably just be me & Abby. I'll even get one for your neglected kiddo who has never been to any of the shows.

My head has been pounding the past few days. Holy cow!!! I swear I would have KILLLLED myself if I lived in the days without pain meds. Seriously. I cant imagine how people survived back then. Who am I kidding? I wouldnt have had to kill myself - I would have died from an asthma attack!

I have a question. Is it bad that I buy something for myself when I do Christmas shopping online so I can get free shipping?

Why is it I am always just under the minimum amount needed for free shipping? I bought a book for someone, but then added in a $7 book, (Tales of the Beetle and the Bard, or something like that, it's the Harry Potter fairy tales,) for myself so I'd be over the $25 mark on Amazon, and then I did the same thing on the Borders site.

Borders has DVD box sets on sale for 40% off, but only until midnight, so I got a set for someone, which was under $25 on sale, so I ordered the new Lost DVD for myself, (which I would've bought at some point anyway.)

I think free shipping is costing me more then it would if I paid for shipping. But if I would've bought the stuff anyway at some point aren't I saving? LOL.

DFIL got out of the hospital today and is doing great! HE can't drive for 2 weeks, but other than that it seems like he's back to normal. It truly is a miracle!
