It is really cheap there too (the dates I'm looking at). I wonder why? Someone said they were doing a lot of construction there so maybe that's why???? I just figured now is my chance to stay at Mandalay Bay for a very good price! I'd never be able to justify the price at Mandalay Bay during the peak season. HEHEHEHE Kind of how I can't justify staying Deluxe at Disney when you are not in your room very much. I've stayed at Mandalay Bay before, but it was 5 girls in the room and I was pregnant at the time! Not real fun!

DH wants to do it anyway. It's a tricky school district line and we have a way around it. He took a friend who is a builder out there yesterday and he said it is an awesome deal and we should really do it. I hate the thought of having the house on the market and having people walking through it all the time.

We carved pumpkins last night. I hate that smell. The smell of like 'fresh pumpkin being carved' is grody, to me.

I started my Vegas planning. I think I've got the babysitter lined up. I sent an email to DH's boss so I'm waiting to hear back from him. If he says OK, I think I'm going to book it! I've been checking other websites and I think I found the best deal on Southwest. The only bummer is I can't use my Southwest travel funds on their vacation packages. Oh well......
Anyone here want to go to Vegas???? The more, the merrier!
I'm thinking about sending an email to some friends to join us as one of DH's best friend's share his b-day. Not sure if anyone else will come, but either way I'm going to make the most of it!
I know, but it is the perfect time to take a little mini-vacation right before the big holiday! That's my story and I'm stickin' to it!
I totally support that. If I didn't have three kids and so much going on I would totally be in. When my kids graduate from high school do you want to go again? I'll be all in then!

That is so funny! I have a friend who had a theory (before he had kids) that you could spend a weekend in Vegas with no room if you wear a Tuxedo and keep a toothbrush in your pocket. His plan was to sleep in the sportsbook when he needed to regroup at about 7:00 AM. So funny! I could never do it! I don't think he ever really tried it. I'll have to let him know that somebody has tried it and it can be done!

Ummm - I got an email from my Travel Agent. They released AP rates for my dates of travel. I'm saving over $100 bucks with the discount... I think it's ... I dunno - I have to look at it, but it's over a hundred! Cool!!!

Well, I actually cheated. I did go there with no room, but crashed in my friend's room on their floor for 3 hours and used their shower. My last day / night there I was up all night at the blackjack table by myself b/c I was winning and didn't want to leave. My friends got up for breakfast and found me at the same table as the night before.
I went out for an early lunch and I thought it was still a little chilly. A little breezy. I'm guessing it has warmed up. It is supposed to be even nicer tomorrow for Halloween! And guess what, I'll be at home.

OT - I got my Photopass pics! Yahoo! I think I might use one for our X-mas card. Or, shall I say Abby's X-mas card. We always send one out of her, not the 3 of us.
