Yomomma, we are so exciting! We really did Moses Lake this weekend. You should have been there! When we left the house we did the following: Dinner at the Golden Corral. Grocery shopping at Walmart.

My son turns 13 on the 4th.

We are either going to the St. Joe river in Idaho, Silverwood, Silver Mountain, Grand Coulee, Leavenworth or staying home.

I just haven't made any real plans yet.

I spend most of my internet time on Facebook now. It's amazing how many school friends I've reconnected with.

Sun ~ We didn't give up on the bags, but it was rainy here for almost two weeks and we got out of the habit already. We got over the Moses and I said "OMG we forgot the bags and boards!!!" I think we'll play them on the 4th.

We are having a party on the 4th and my brother's friend is a DJ on the side so he's going to do our party music. We are gonna make enemys of the neighbors this year! My DH and his friend are going out to the indian reservation tonight to load up on big booms and lots of the pretty stuff too for the girls. I think it's going to be a great party. You guys should hop a plane if you don't have anything going!!!

Good morning girls! *YAWN* I'm soooo tired. I didn't get home til midnight last night. I had a softball game that didn't finish until 9, then went to the bar for 1 - yeah right. Why can't I ever just go for 1? This is going to be a long day. I have another game tonight too. UGH!

My BIL and SIL are visiting with their two daughters over the 4th on their way to the mountains. I have no idea what we'll be doing while they're here though.

That will be nice to have family over.

Sounds like you have a lot of options there even though I've never heard of any of them.

Well now I'm not sure if they're coming or not. SIL called my DH this morning and said that her husband couldn't come as he found out he has to work and wants to know if they should still come without him. DH told her to ask me. So we'll see what happens. her kids are a nightmare so I'd really rather they didn't come.

Hi girls! I probably won't check in at home this weekend. Our home computer has a "worm" and it prevents me from going onto the Norton website to renew my antivirus, which just expired when I got the worm. I'll have to go to the store and buy it and install it instead of downloading it
I guess. Just haven't had time to think about that when I'm out at the store.

Anyway, I hope everyone has a very happy 4th!!!! Be safe and have fun. Oh, and watch out for too much sun. I got a sun rash after being in Moses Lake last weekend and it hasn't gone away yet. It itches so bad!!!!!!!!!!

Mine was pretty good. We had a rainy 4th which was kind of a bummer, but it eventually stopped around 7:00pm. Yesterday was a beautiful day so we BBQ'd at a friends while the kids swam.

the laser light show. It was ok.
It was really warm here all wknd. Now it is ugly outside, windy and looks like its going to rain.

Rain - Yuck! We usually have rain on the 4th so this was a treat! It was 85 and beautiful. We had good ol' American BBQ food...... burgers, dogs, potato salad, chips and dip..... It was fun. Lots of people played bags, but I didn't because I was busy making food and drinks and helping with stuff. It was fun though. My DH and his friend spent about $400 on fireworks so we had a good show.

Lots of people played bags, but I didn't because I was busy making food and drinks and helping with stuff. It was fun though. My DH and his friend spent about $400 on fireworks so we had a good show.

I'm glad someone had good weather. We had great weather on the 3rd & 5th, just not the 4th. Even though it poured here, it cleared up around 7pm so we did get the bag tourney in. We played random partners, $5 per person, and I got my sister!!!!!! I was not too happy b/c she stinks at bags, but we miraculously ended up taking 2nd place so we each won our $10. We beat DH & his partner in the first round. Come to think of it, we were the only girl - girl team and beat all guy teams.

I saw Cat on the 4th. She saved us spots in front of her house for the parade. Thanks again Cat! Abby was in the parade. It drizzled for the parade, but didn't start raining hard until it was just about over - thank goodness.

I'm trying to think of something to do with Abby this weekend. Ernie is going to be radioactive so I want to take her somewhere Saturday. Any ideas??? I was thinking maybe a waterpark place. I don't think we will stay overnight b/c it is crazy expensive in the summer on a Saturday night so I was just thinking of getting a day pass. Or maybe I'll take her downtown to the lake / beach if the weather is good. Hmmmm..............

It was nice here on the 4th weather-wise. It rained pretty much all of June here though.

I was going to go into Philly on the 4th for the parade and fireworks, but ended up changing my mind since I didn't feel that great. Not sick, but really tired and just wanted to sleep all day, and not go all the way into the city and deal with crowds.

I did see some fireworks that night, but like I said to Cat, I've been completely spoiled by Wishes, and no any other fireworks just seem kind of boring, and not nearly as spectacular.

I thought about taking her to the American Girl Doll store and having lunch or dinner there. I even tried to find a hotel to stay at that night, but they are so darn expensive. Like $250 a night which is just ridiculous. Downtown is only about 40 minutes away so we could go just for the day, but it is such a pain to find parking, etc. I could take the train, but that is a pain too b/c once I get down there I have no idea where to go.

Oprah - impossible to get tix. I did go like 10 yrs ago. It was about the Angel network and Steven Tyler was there from Aerosmith. My sister just about fainted b/c she loves him.

My next thought is an indoor waterpark that is nearby. Once again, $150 to stay the night, ridiculous, b/c it is not even a nice hotel. We can purchase day passes though and not have to stay there.

Hmmmm. What to do......... There is also a fest in the neighboring town which is about 1 mile away. We have a zoo membership, we can do that too.

There's lots to do. I just don't know which to do. ya know.......

Poor DH. He's sooo bored. He is sitting on a sheet watching TV with plastic on the remote. He has his laptop and plastic on that too so he can surf the web. He has to sleep on an air mattress for the next 6 days in the spare room. No fun at all for him.........

Hi Nate. I saw the user name and knew who it was right away! Too bad you won't be able to revive this old thread, which died a slow and painful death. I miss my old Stinkeye friends, who mostly only talk on Facebook now. It was better here though, because people had real conversations. Post my woofy pics though, I'm looking!
