Still waiting on luagage tag & vouchers leaving in 10 days!!!

I'm so :mad: and stressed that we will not get them on time.

This is the 3rd time we go to Disney, in the past years I would receive the tickets about 3 weeks before our departure

This time we booked our hotel throught CAA. I never made any reservation with them before.

When I called Disney to confirmed my reservation directly with them they say they can't see it because I made it throught an agency!!

What should I do???

I've never booked through a travel agency before, but I have gone several times without receiving my vouchers/tags. As long as you have a WDW reservation, you just need to check in at the Magic Express counter once you get to the airport - they will be able to pull up your reservation, take your checked luggage tags from your airline and make sure you get to your resort along with your luggage. They will also give you your return passes for getting back to the airport. Relax, and enjoy your countdown to the magic!:goodvibes I'm going in six more sleeps!

Really :woohoo: I won't have to wait for my suitcases at the carouselle !!!

That is what I was dreading, 3 excited kids lugging all the suitcases :headache:

I had a nightmare last night that we got there and they was no ressie :scared1:

I will bring my confirmation number from the travel agent and hope for the best
 

Last time I booked with a travel agent everything went directly to them. Have you called CAA??

yes I have they called Disney and they said it was already mailed. I guess they never got it. They are suppose to resend it...
 
We have also gone w/o tags. I think it happens a lot w Canadians.

It was no biggy. Just go to the Express desk.:thumbsup2

Usually, I get it the next day since they courier it. A few times they say that it was sent to California (I guess they quickly see CA and assume it's California). Anyways, I have also gone with tags before, just make sure you have your resort confirmation number in case they need it and if you want them to pick up your luggage, they'll ask for how many and the description of your luggage. One good advice would be to take a photo of your luggage together and print it out, so when you get there you can just show it to them.

Agree 100%...If you live in Canada and haven't received your DME package 2 weeks prior to check-in call DME directly and they'll courier it. Sometimes (don't know why) the package gets turned back at the border/customs.

Our first two trips using DME we received the package 3-4 weeks ahead. For our third trip using DME I realized eight days from check-in we hadn't recieved the package. Called DME directly and had the package two days later.

Last trip I called two weeks prior and had the package three days later. Here's the DME number if you need it...

We booked through CAA too. I have had nothing but wonderful help from our travel agent. Could you call up your travel agent or the CAA head office and tell them about your problem?

We are booked for the 24th of this month. I am looking right now at the booklet Disney mails out and it is addressed to the travel agent herself at the CAA Travel Store we used. It states in there that it was printed on the 16th of December 08 but I picked it up from my CAA store on the 8th of Jan. due to my time restrictions. She called us on the 30th of December to say it arrived.

I am very surprised that you are having such a bad time with them. I am sorry I cannot help you with ME info as we are driving down.

I just noticed in the front of my booklet it states:

"Should you need assistance while visiting Walt Disney World Resort, please contact Disney Reservation Center Guest Services at 888-215-9434. Operating hours are Monday-Sunday, 7 a.m.-10 p.m. (Eastern Time).

I would think if you have your reservation number that might possibly start with a 5 and tell them your problem they should be able to track down when it was sent and to whom.

If the agent called Disney and had them resent then they should be here on time. They come UPS and usually arrive within 3 days. As others have said, no big deal if they don't!
 
I just got off the phone with them and still no tickets :sad:

I tried calling Disney directly but they can't see my ressies since it was made with CAA :confused3

But I'm glad to know that when I get down I still can get on the ME

I'm in the same boat. Our Travel Agent talked to Disney and they said they sent them the end December .... still nothing but we have 2.5 weeks left before the trip. They said they would resend them .....
 
What CAA office did you book with?

I have traveled a couple of times without documents and it has been ok. However, have you called your agent to make sure that they are checking on the documents too? Also, make sure they provided your flight information to Disney. As long as you have done those two things, you'll be fine... :) With or without docs ;)
 
Downtown Montreal CAA office. I called the travel agent Dec 29, to ask her about the tickets, she said she would sent them as soon as she got them.

I called again Jan 15, she sounded surprised that I didn't get them ?? She put me on hold, after she said SHE never got them and asked Disney to sent them back. I found it odd and was really disapointed that she didn't ssem to know what was going on, basically no folllow up.

The last time I went throught a travel agent she knew exactly when I would get the tickets. She also followed up after she sent them to me to make sure I had everything...

Very disapointed with the service I got with CAA, they lost me as a customer.

It may not be a CAA thing. Our TA has called twice but not here yet. We leave in 3/4 weeks so I told her I read about this on the net and she phoned Disney a 3rd time who said the papers are on their way.

They are put into a big UPS enveloped and shipped from the US. Because of their shape, appearantly they are held up at the border longer, at least according to Disney.
