Ole Mick Jagger, of The Rolling Stones, hits the big 6-0 today. Isn't he one of those guys who said to....never trust anybody over age 30, about 35 years ago?
Jagger and The Stones have long been my favorite rock band, "The Greatest Rock & Roll Band in the World". I have enjoyed their music, from their first albums here in the States, first being the 1964 offering of.....
England's Newest Hitmakers--The Rolling Stones (they were not too creative with titles back then, LOL)

to the most current, last year's, 2002 offering, Rolling Stone--Forty Licks (a bit more creativeness in title selection, LOL), a wonderful compilation of 40 years of hits and creativeness ........

Mick has certainly lead life in the fast lane, sometimes the danger lane, but still, he is rolling, here today, age 60. They are playing in Prague, Czech Republic tomorrow, on their 2 year concert tour. The Stones have played for 5 decades now, and if you have never seen them, you would be amazed by their athletic abilities. Mick has one extra year on me, and I have a tough time sitting for a two hour concert, LOL, much less doing his nonstop stage gyrations for two.
Jagger, back in 1963......
Ed Sullivan Show, 1965......
Still hanging in there.....
On the current tour......
All the boys (they do have some tough miles behind themselves )......
Song playing in background (it is an mp3, if you do not hear it) is one of their blusey best, Wild Horses, one of my very favorites from years back, and also our own Snoopy's and DH, John's, 'anthem' song. BTW, Snoopy's day today also.

Click for another classic Stones sound (Think Starwood Hotels/Resorts commercial)
Okay, one more, who can forget this most familiar of guitar riffs?

LOL Dan!

Yes, that is "our song", makes me a bit teary eyed listening to it now for days gone by.
Funny that he is 20 years older than me, when I was younger I thought of him as an old man, now that 20 year gap doesn't seem as large......

Very nice, Dan.
