Still No November Hours?! That Post is 175 Pages! What's Up?

I keep checking the November hours post on the Theme Parks board because I can't BELIEVE November hours still haven't been posted! They are more than a month late!!! That post is 175 pages, 2,700 responses and over 100,000 page views! I feel so bad for everyone going in November! What is going on with that? And nothing really from Disney except the generic responses.

Anyone on the podcast crew got any word on this? It really is unbelievable. December hours are supposed to be out and November still isnt up yet????
Is Disney waiting to see what gas prices/economy is doing to bookings or what?

It's pretty bad show to torture your guests like this if you ask me.

Well the DECEMBER hours thread is already 17 pages long. They couldn't possibly post December hours before November hours could they???

Can you imagine what those poor reservation CM's are going through??? I actually feel sorry for them.

I'm a little worried they are going to completely change October hours too while they are doing whatever they are doing.

Some of the "Why Hours Aren't Out" theories are pretty interesting. Some people think they are doing away with EMH! And then some people think they are evil and are just having fun messing with "The Planners."

I feel the pain. We are going in November and I had to make my best guesses with what the UOG book was saying. That is the first time in 20 years I have had to made blind ADR's. Kinda crazy. I wonder why the hold up though. The party dates have been released and I even have my ticket. I cant imagine what they are still deciding.

I have to start making my ADRs on Wednesday. Should be fun. I hope my "educated guessing" will pay off! Most should be easy, but ya never know now. It seems alot of people are double (and triple) booking "Just in case".

We aren't staying on property this year which means I book one day at a time. Plus there are 5 of us.

Ok, my headache is back DH keeps teasing that the park will be closed - Sorry Folks! The Moose out front should have told you.

Worse case for me is we'll just spend less money on food. I'd really hate to have to go off property but if I can't get what I want I don't see any other options.

I'm really feeling bad for the Nov.-Dec. trippers! This is unbelievable!!

I have a co-worker taking her kids to the World for the 1st time in late Nov. She asked me to help with her ADRs and without the hours, it was tricky. Told her what I think her kids would enjoy. She is within her 180 days. Just suggested she make some ressies and then we could try to change them around if the hours ever get posted...

Do you think that Disney wants to announce all the holiday information at once and then let everyone fend for themselves?

The exception being the MVMCP which has been announced and thats to their advantage to get it announced early to get the money flowing in... well at least its got mine already.

We made our plans based on last years times... hope that doesn't cause me too many problems. I don't think it will... We got the ADR's we wanted and will freelance about 1/2 of our meals anyway... that gives us a little flexibility in case I'm way off.

Now THAT'S comedy gold. The fam is going down for my DS's 5th birthday, and we are just sort of winging it as far as ADRs. I guess we'll just have to adapt, persevere and overcome...or something like that. Good thing we don't like to have too much planned though. This is craziness.

Yea, I didn't really think they would get rid of EMH either, but people are so desperate for info, they are just guessing now, trying to come up with some plausible reason for the hours not being posted. Alot of people seem to think there is going to be some MAJOR change to something. I don't know about that, but I do think it's pretty darn strange they aren't up.

Hey, PodFans, we're going in Nov so I'm glad the EMH are starting to get posted finally!

I have a weird question. WaltD4Me got me thinking with her(?) suggestion they might get rid of them...I am wondering how long EMH have existed???? I found it so interesting that Wishspirit said they got rid of them a few years back and reinstated them due to the outcry...

I've only been a Disney addict for two years. SO how long have EMH been around??
