Still Doing Rope Drop

Are they still doing the rope drop. It made it easy to grab a quick breakfast while waiting.

well we went in thur morning early thought it was MM but they had switched days on us because grad night.

We got in line at 8:15am the park open at 9 am they let us in at 8:45am but we could not go past the end of main street till they counted down at 9am.

I haven't been since last September, but they were still doing the rope drop then. I couldn't say anything definitive about recently, however.

I thought with a lot folks being there now someone would have an answer. We like this.

They did a rope drop on last Thursday and Friday. There was a lot of confusion due to Grad nights. So many people showed up for MM on Thursday and for 8:00 opening (instead of 9:00) on Friday.

So is the rope drop still at the bridge/entrance to each land or the end of mainstreet? Which end; hub end or the town square end?

On Friday (6/18) the rope drop was at the hub end of Main Street.

I have never been there with the rope drop but I'm sure it's magical. I like to get there when it opens but my DD likes to sleep in so we never seem to get there until like 10, such a waste of precious time. LOL
