Still confused on basic tickets

So if a 1 day ticket is bought and you decide to change the date on line before the day, what would be the deal if you had the ticket mailed already? I assume you'd have to go to will call or a general ticket window to get it changed? All so ridiculous

Will call or a general ticket window or Guest Relations, yes.

OR, you can pay (extra cost) to buy a "non-dated" ticket.

Thanks. One more question, would you then lose all your fps even if you changed them online after changing the date?

A 1-day dated ticket will only allow you to book FP+ for that date. If you change the date, yes you loose the FP because you no longer have a ticket for that date and you haven’t yet book FP+ for the new date. If you upgrade to a multi-day ticket, you would keep the original FP+ (assuming the new ticket includes the original date).

If your ticket is linked to MDE, you made the change through MDE and you have ticket media (card or magic band) you probably don’t need to stop anywhere.

Thanks for the response. So does the ticket card say the actual date? If so will the ticket readers adjust to the change made online? And can you book fps on the new day after changing?
