Was very impressed with Islands of Adventure..my favorite ride so far this year......Harry Potter!!!! It was awesome....I will say it was very busy as was all parks..Used to going in Sept when its slow and I could see a major difference.. We still got everything we wanted done, just had to run people over..:lmao: j/k Next time we will get the dining plan at both parks, not sure we will save money but prices were so overly priced I balked at buying things..That way our meals will be prepaid and out of the way...The christmas decorations were nice but dont know if we will come back during christmas again, just doesnt feel like christmas to us..Heading back home in morning..not sure when we will come again next year but we sure are coming back...:worried:

I'm sure it's not as slow as September, but at least you avoided the crazy crowds next week! Glad you liked IoA. We're going to IoA for the first time this spring. My older kids are HP fans and my youngest loves Dr. Seuss. I'm just worried Forbidden Journey will be too much for the motion-sensitive members of my family.

It's OK. Believe me you can like more than one park, ride or experience. We like US and Sea world and Busch Gardens too. They are all special in their own way.

Nice, it's good to try new things! :thumbsup2

I agree. We love Disney World, but on our most recent trip we took a day to visit Legoland and had a blast and we all agreed that for future Disney trips (we're not at the point yet where we're ready to go to Orlando for a trip where Disney isn't the focal point of the vacation ) we want to spend at least one day at another area theme park (Legoland, Sea World, or Islands of Adventure) for the experience. As much as we love Disney, we can't deny that there are other great experiences to be had outside of the Disney bubble and we found that the crowd levels and touring pace required of the other theme parks is like night and day when compared to our beloved Disney parks

Isn't it great how many amazing parks there are in Orlando? There is definitely something for everyone.

I am always surprised at how many people take an approach that you can't enjoy IOA / US if you love Disney. That is crazy! I am a huge Disney fan, but I love IOA. For those who have not experienced it, the Wizarding World is breathtaking.

I totally agree. And from all reports, Diagon Alley is going to be even more breath taking and the rides even more fantastic.

Fun! Legoland is on our list to try. We love Busch Gardens Williamsburg so I would like to see BGT as well one trip. But yes, lots of great parks out there and if you like Disney you'll probably like some of the others too :)

It's a great day trip every couple years for us.

The cherry on top is getting back for Fantasmic, or dinner/drinks/Illuminations to end a great day.
