Thank you to everyone who has been reading my long, exciting, masterful, thrill-inducing, annoying updates.
YOU GUYS ROCK! 
Yesterday, I bought tickets to Mickey's Pirate and Princess Party! I really wanted to attend. I have never been to MNSSHP or MVMCP, so I really wanted to go to this one since it falls during our trip. I wasn't sold on the idea completely though, until I listened to the DIS Unplugged the other day and heard them all rave about it! I am SOOOOO excited for the amazing fireworks show and the creepy pirate ships in the parade!! Yippeeee!!
I'm quite excited, as you can see. I very rarely use the group of smilies having a party, so when I do, you know it means SERIOUS business.
Also what is the point of this beyond white person playing the violin?
I don't get it.
But still...

So, I want to hear from you guys! We still have over a month until the trip begins. What should I write about next? I already have included a long, exasperating, interesting, weird, concerning, fascinating chapter about where and how us, the Rich and Famous, eat WDW. What do you guys wanna hear next?

I love your dining choices!!! This trip around we have all the old favorites booked. We are not trying 1 new thing. Which in a way saddens me, but in another I'm so excited to go back to the place we love!!!
I can't wait for the Pirate and Princess party either!!! I'm so thrilled to be able to check it out.

So. We had to change our plans AGAIN and push back our trip AGAIN. This time, only by one day! Phew. I can't take even an HOUR more wait! I JUST NEED TO BE AT DISNEY WORLD NOW. I know it's impossible but I REALLY need to make a note here: Learn how to teleport self.
Sorry I haven't updated in awhile. I've just been really busy, what with gracing the covers of magazines and all:

ANYWAY, I bring forth another installment!
Hmm, so, just which Disney resort is suitable for rock royalty and his equally rockin daughter?
Apparently, none of them!
You see, my dad (we are slipping back into the real dad here, and putting the Steve alter-ego aside for a moment) has many amazing connections in the hotel industry. We're talkin... completely free hotel stays. So yeah, every trip up until our April 2006 one, we'd stay *scary music swells* ... OFF PROPERTY.
I've always wanted to stay at a Disney Resort, obviously. You've got to get your head checked if staying at one of these amazing places doesn't interest you. But Dad always thought, why spend thousands on a hotel stay when we could get it for free?
BECAUSE IT'S DISNEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
To quote Will Smith, "Parents just don't understand." Smart man.
The hotel or resort we stayed at was always very close to the entrance and very nice and we still had amazing vacations.... but *emotional dramatic music starts to swell* I always longed to stay on property!
On a very fateful day at the beginning of 2006, my dad informs me that we are going to WDW in the April! For my BIRTHDAY! For ten WHOLE days! And since it is my Birthday Celebration Vacation - WE ARE STAYING ON PROPERTY!!!!! Whooooooo-hooooooooo!! 
My mom & I looked at prices and pictures, and told my Dad about some of the Deluxes. I REALLY wanted to stay at the Poly. Actually, I really wanted to stay everywhere, but for some reason the Poly was my big choice at the time. "400? ....a night!?!" was his response. I understood, I mean, we were going from free hotel to very expensive very fast here! Moderate would have been perfect, except that we booked so late that our non-flexible dates were taken - at EVERY moderate! I was disappointed, because I really loved Caribbean Beach from the photos I had seen, and wanted to stay there.
We ended up staying at the Pop. Let me tell you, I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! I have DREAMS about it. I know a lot of people don't like Value Resorts, but I love the Larger-Than-Life quality of everything. The room was a little small, and Dad was mad there wasn't a gym (He has to stay in shape, what with all the touring and mad rockstar lifestyle). I loved that one minute you could be in the crazy madness of the Hippy Dippy Pool (we stayed in the 60's) and then have a relaxing walk by the lake. Also, we could se the Epcot ball from our balcony if we walked a bit, and that really excited me!
So, it came time to book another Disney trip. Dad said that we wouldn't be staying on property. That was just supposed to be a special birthday treat. I reluctantly agreed because well, I just want to go back to WDW, and didn't want to seem ungrateful.
Warning: Lots of figures and dates and AP talk ahead! You might wanna skip this paragraph if that bores ya!
But then I had a conversation with my dad about Annual Passes. We had gone in April 06, now we were going in March 07, that is within one year. And if I had bought an AP back in April, we could have saved on both trips. I told him it would be likely we'd be returning to WDW again within this year. I planted a seed in his head, mentioned it again a couple weeks later, etc. Then finally, I told him about how much AP holders save on resorts. I told him that the Caribbean Beach would only be $1400 for 10 nights, and the POP would only be $1000. I told him, again, about all the other savings Annual Passholders get. I figured out that if I got an Annual Pass instead of a hopper and stayed at the Pop, we'd save about $100 before even getting to WDW. I mentioned that this time, since Mom wasn't coming, our family dog (we named her Pooh Bear, she is not a pet.. she is family!) would not have to be put into a kennel, so that's saving $400, plus - staying On Property, we don't need a Rent-A-Car. More savings! He was sold, but decided to get a Rent-A-Car anyway, because my Mom has a great deal with Budget and we like to have our own car.
Didya follow all that?
Even if you didn't, we gotta keep on truckin'!
If it were up to me, i'd become a resort hopper and stay at a few per trip, but that's not in everyone's comfort zone. Namely, my dad's. So, one resort it is! ;D
I finally decided on the Pop again because it is like home to me. It's the first On Property resort I ever stayed at, so anytime I go back, for the rest of my life, I know I will feel that *ooohahhh* feeling as soon as I walk in. On the other hand, I am dying to try a new resort and Caribbean Beach looks just wonderful, but i'm worried once I get there, i'll wish I was at Pop. I definitely want to visit the Caribbean Beach when i'm at WDW and check it out!
Remember I said I needed to add some photos? I wasn't lyin'! I decided that in this year's trippie, I will include pictures from last year as well as new ones, because I took so many that I just have to share!
Here are a couple preview shots of the POP I took in April 2006! Many more coming SOOOON!
This is just ONE TINY fraction of the pictures I took last time. I am a picture taking fiend, truly. So I hope ya like looking! Let me know what you think of these! Also, please use these ONLY for viewing! People have stolen my photos before and used them for other things. I don't want to have to result to tagging, so, yeah!

YIKES... it appears that I have KILLED my own thread! Is anyone even reading this thing? Where have I gone wrong?

Hmm, well. I'm over it. FOR THE VERY REASON THAT I WILL BE AT WALT DISNEY WORLD IN....
19 DAYS!!!!!
Just a little under THREE WEEKS and I will be at the Happiest Place on Earth.
I don't really have much to say except I COULD NOT BE MORE EXCITED!!!!!!
To be honest, I don't know what to do with myself! Lately i've been wanting to just sit on the DIS reading reports and looking at pictures. Everything is planned and set and there is nothing left to do but WAIT!
Goals for this trip:
1. Try and find EVERYTHING on the list of WDW Secrets that I have
2. Explore EVERY INCH of the World Showcase no matter HOW LONG it takes!
3. See the Pirate Tutorial Show and all the new attractions I have not seen.
4. Try and eat around the World Showcase. It's a challenge but I have faith!
5. Buy something small in every country around the WS.
6. Buy a new dish from Animal Kingdom
7. Try and stifle my need to collect Disney pens
8. FIND THE HIDDEN MINNIE IN THE GREAT MOVIE RIDE QUEUE. I have seen photos of it, but everytime I'm there, I don't see it! I also can never find the Mickey and Donald!
9. Buy Laila perfume
10. Visit Tom Sawyer's Island - one of the only areas of the parks I have not seen!
11. Must eat snacks: fish n chips (UK & the captain's special at CHH!), Strawberry Cheescake (France/Norway), Pretzel (Germany), Kaki Gori (Japan), Dole Whip (i've NEVER had one!) Mickey rice crispie treats, Zebra Domes, Dole Whips, Main Street Popcorn, and of COURSE Mickey Bars. Many, many Mickey Bars... and i'm sure many others that I am forgetting but I have on my other list. Can you tell, I like lists?
12. MAKE SURE to see British Invasion! I am a DIE HARD Beatles fan and have NEVER seen them!
13. See the wishing well near Cinderella's Castle (I have never seen it, where the heck is it?)
14. Take more pictures than any other human being in history.
15. Visit Rafiki's Planet Watch (Never been!)
I will add to this list as I think of things! Of course the most important thing is to HAVE AN AMAZING TIME!!

No, your thread hasn't been killed. Just stumbled upon it. I'm kind of having the pre-planning bug at the moment...I don't get to go until October. Naturally my family has already banned me from talking about ADR's. DH cannot fathom why I need to decide where to eat in 247 days time. No help.
Like your trip goals. Though I don't think you should stifle your pen collecting. Every (disney) girl needs a hobby....

Men. They just don't get it, do they? I bet he doesn't complain when the time comes that he is eating delicious food at WDW! haha. My dad is the same way. He doesn't understand why we have to be on a schedule. He flat out doesn't believe that we can't just walk in whenever we feel like it.
I think I may take your advice about the pens, however, I don't want my dad to have to file for bankruptcy because of my Disney Pen Obsession. LOL. So, we'll see! Thanks for reading!

It saves 20% off many table service meals and if you are going for a week or so it might be worth it. You and Steven can pick it up at Epcot if you preorder by phone. It is 60 dollars for AP holders so you can do the math and see if it is a good deal for your trip. We will be at Disney March 13-17.Our favourite park is...MGM Studios.Have a terrific trip!

Okay, say you're standing directly in front of Cinderella's Castle. Make a left and go just a little ways down and follow the walkway (you'll see the walkway before you hit Sleepy Hollow CS place, you know the one that sells funnel cakes?) that leads to Fantasyland. At the end of the walkway you'll see the little fountain on the left side. It has a statue of Cinderella on it so it's kind of hard to miss.
I hope I described that well, I just re-read it and it sounds kind of jumbled up. If you have trouble finding it I'm sure one of the many helpful CM's will direct you there

Well let me say FIRST before I say anything... is that I SO appreciate all the replies on this thread. I just read it all over again and it cheered me up very much! You are all too sweet! 
You are probably thinking... "But Lia, you're in DISNEY WORLD! Why on EARTH would you need cheering up?" The answer to that question is that I am NOT in Walt Disney World right now. *hysterical crying*
The reason is... is that my dad has been having recent health problems on TOP of his dental work. It is very upsetting, but thank goodness, nothing serious! He'll be fine, but he is just not in tip top Disney shape. Being the awesome guy that he is, he was going to stick it out and just go anyway for me... but I said absolutely not. I mean what is the POINT of going to the Happiest Place on Earth if you can't truly enjoy it, right?
The good news is that this trip is 100%, completely, totally NOT cancelled! Just postponed. It was rough having to cancel everything AGAIN, and give up the chance to go to the Pirate and Princess Party. That really stunk, but I do believe everything happens for a reason... because since Wednesday I have had a terrible cold! Could you imagine.. going to Disney and having to stay in BED? That would be absolute TORTURE!
I will STILL be updating this... I have some ideas to keep everyone entertained so don't give up on this trippie! I am BEYOND excited to finally get to the World and when I do you are going to get one of the best trip reports EVER! I hope you are ready!

Aww Lia I am sorry that your trip got postponed and I hope your dad gets better and I hope that your cold goes away too! I am a firm believer that everything does happen for a reason. Be sure to keep us updated on any new developments. Take care!

I just stumbled onto your trip report today and I was so excited for you! Until I read your last post
I'm so sorry you will miss your Pirates and Princess party and have to postpone your trip! I am hoping that your Dad recovers soon to good health. A trip to Disney is just what he will need when he is feeling better.
My next trip is in December and it is excruciating for me to wait that long! I feel your pain.

ACK ACK ACK ACK
Just got a call from my dad. He has to have important dental work done (Rockstars have to have perfect teeth, you guys!), and the only time they can see him for a consultation is MARCH 5. TOO BAD WE'RE GOING TO BE AT DISNEY ON THAT DAY!!!! Except that...we're not. Because it's VERY important, and he has to go on this day. ACK ACK ACK ACK. This is where my immaturity comes out and I scream "STUPID DENTISTS!" and stomp my feet.
So we have to change ALL OUR PLANS. We can't leave earlier because dad didn't plan for that at work, so we have to move our trip up to March 6 - 16.
So....I have to wait LONGER to go to Disney????????
*convulses and falls to the ground, assuming the fetal position*

But wait!

This means I have to RE-PLAN EVERYTHING? AHHH!!
To some, that might be daunting and upsetting. To me, it's not really bad! It'll give me something to do while I wait for the trip to come up, and I love planning! Plus, we can still use most of the plans that I've made if I switch up some of the EMH nights and that sort of thing! Thank God we book our airfare late and haven't done it yet, changing your airplane reservations can be expensive sometimes! I also didn't book our tours yet, so I won't have to cancel those. Also, March 6-16 is still within the time that we get AP discounts on our resort, YAY!
So I guess that answered some of your un-answered questions and clued you in a bit on what we're doing! You can see we're staying on-property, going for 10 days, and doing some tours!
Dad has to check some things at work (Meaning, he has to call Joe Perry and discuss things) and make sure that we CAN go March 6-16, and then I'm just gonna pray that our resort has room for us on these days!
I guess this will make the report more interesting, you can plan along with me!

STUPID DENTISTS. I agree completely. I'm 18 so its good to find yours and blayne's(sp?) TRs. I wrote my first one for WDW last June (our first trip) but uh.....i didn't finish it.
