I absolutely cannot WAIT for this to come out. I LOVE the Stephanie Plum series! I am not happy with who they cast for Stephanie and Ranger though. Heigel is way too girly for Stephanie. The character is less prissy and more, how do I put this...real Jerzy? The others are going to be great.

Not sure that I wanted "faces" to put with the names The "Ranger" in my imagination is more along the line of Adam Rodriguez on CSI-Miami

Yes, I just don't get Katherine Heigl...she is just not "Jersey" enough for Stephanie. Even with the dark hair she is still way too California girl. She's too thin too. Stephanie's got some junk in her trunk.

The actor playing Ranger is a hottie, but just like Heigl, he's too California. Too clean and tidy. Ranger is supposed to have a bit of an edge.

I actually just started the series and wonder what took me so long! My MIL had been reading them for years. We just lost her in August and I cannot believe that the movie comes out now. She would have loved it!

I love this book series (well, until about the last 5 which are just repetitive) but I HATE the way the movie was cast. Will see it when it goes to redbx maybe. Rosie Perez or someone like her was Stephanie in my head.

I think Katherine Heigel is better as Stephanie than I thought she would be. I really did not picture Grandma Mazur as Debbie Reynolds. i love her, but just didn't hunk of her in this role. i think Stephanie's mother is perfect!

Ranger and Morelli, not sure if either is my perfect vision of them, but I'm not sure the actors really exist I am neutral on them.

I'm more excited about now then I was. I think it would be hard to cast a movie based on a book and make everyone happy. I LOVE the actor who is playing Morelli though, so even though he doesn't look like the Morelli in my head, I think he'll bring the right attitude to it.
Should be fun!
