yeah tom got emotional-no tears but just we were both so happy. i was jumping around my house like a mad women. wish i could go to the parade. use to work on the route but not anymore. I have an appointment this afternoon so taking a half day. Of all the days to have to do something. :lol:

Walking through grand central to another bar with stylish blue umbrella-i do not remember this-

well last weekend was my bridal shower! i was surprised as tom told me we were going to a family reunion. so i spent all week for looking for a dress and i ended up just with a sweater dress i had and it worked out well. i have realized that for both my bachelorette parties and bridal shower i wore purple dresses and that is my color!! i did not even it planned it and realized it today. anywayl i walk into the restaurant and the hostess says "oh are you here for the baby shower?" she was suppose to say reuninion so i kind of put 2 and 2 together. so i walk into the room and there are mine and tom
s family and friends. it actually went off without a hitch and i had a great time. even though my sister did a great job as did my friends of course there was drama with who else but my sister. i will get into that another time. I just got some of the photos and will try to upload a couple up tomorrow. here is one silly one of me with the hat and bouquet of ribbon 2 of my friends made for me along with the disney princess balloon!!!

i am waiting for all of them to go through before i post more about it. i will post full story of everything later-also have to get back to work!

its been a while since i updated but alot has been going on. basically my grandfather had another surgery yesterday. it was an in and out procedure. he was recovering and then my grandmother who is the one who is taking care of my grandpa fell last night and broke her hip and her arm. they rushed her to the hospital last night. she is in surgery right now getting pins in her wrist and hip and then on to rehab. my mom is flying down to florida as i write and staying indefinitely at the moment as is my aunt. I am so devasated. it just does not seem fair. we have do much already happen and my grandma has been such a rock and supportive and now this. it's like g-d is testing me and my family but i am not sure what that test is. i have to face reality now that they are probably not coming to my wedding. DF did say to me that after our honeymoon if they do not come that we will go see them for a few days. since we are down in florida anyway it will be easy and we can stay with our friends who live 30 mins from my grandparents. he is so wonderful.

i know i said i would update about my shower so my bridal shower was last weekend. it was at a restraunt by my house. i am had an idea it might be that weekend since df said we had a family reuinion to go to. sounded kind of suspicious but i went with it. anyway, we get there and walk in and the stupid matre d says oh are you here for the baby shower? so i was thinking hmmm...df goes no the reunion. DUH!!! so i walk in and there is everyone! here are some pictures

It was a lot of fun. My sister made a speech and one of my BFFs wrote me a poem. I got a ton of stuff of my registry and then tom got me my crystal candlesticks from tiffany's that i wanted which was so sweet. this weekend we have a call with our photographer to go over stuff we want photographed and i will be working on a mock of my programs. , we ordered our wedding bands. i am having mine made to match my ring. so i don't have my e-ring right now since i am finally having it sized and then matched to the wedding band and i feel so naked-we got our marriage license so that is all set.

just got to pray at this point. that is all i can do Yeah when I am stressed out and upset i dont eat, i know most people are the other way but i always have to be different i have lost about 13 pounds in 4 months actually. i am not complaining though! thanks for noticing and for the hugs.

thanks girls for the well wishes. it is a slow process and waiting game. it sucks. nothing new to report. finished my thank yous for my shower. got paper to wrap my favors. i plan on starting those this weekend being i am off on thurs and fri for thanksgiving-4 day weekend! got to do a mock up of my programs still. i keep saying i am going to do it and then i have all these other things going on. need to buckle down and do it! not tonight since i am working late but hopefully tomorrow. tomorrow is also my second fitting. that is it for now.
