We've just booked b&b at the Davey Crockett, 14th-17th July :yay:

Would be grateful if someone could post a brief step by step on the quickest way to get the annual passes sorted out, inc. what info to take, where to go, what time, etc.

Thanks!

Just take your (real) passports with you, you need them for identification. Go to Guest Relations on the right hand side of the entrance and say what kind of APs you want. If you are getting the free APs for under 7's, they do this there too. You pay here and get a temporary pass to get you through the gates. Then at some point during that day you need to go to the AP office at the entrance to Discoveryland and they will process your application to give you your real APs, like a little plastic credit card. They will take your photos so all members of your party need to be there and you need to show all their passports. I'm not sure what you mean by what time, but if you mean what is the best time it's hard to predict really. At Guest Relations you may well have a queue, and at the Ap office if they are busy they will give you a ticket and a time to come back I think. We arrived on a Saturday afternoon and Guest Relations were very busy because there were no other ticket windows open by then, but the AP office wasn't busy at all.

PS I looked briefly at the site you mentioned for booking RO and they seemed to do only specific dates, is that right?

Thanks Cathy, that really helpful!

2 other questions....I read somewhere that you had to bring evidence that you live at the same address (we're a family of 6), and does it take long for them to be processed in the passport office?

That site should be able to do RO whenever. Make sure you actually speak to them on the phone though. Once they've quoted you, they'll probably ask if you've had other quotes and offer a discount. If they don't, don't be shy, just ask them if they can beat the other price.

In the past they've saved me up to £200 on a direct DLRP all in quote, but I was surprised when they discounted the RO price. Wasn't a massive amount but was better than nothing.

Cheers :)

I'm not sure about the evidence of address, but it couldn't hurt. We didn't have to provide it, but there are only 4 of use. I think I'm right in saying family discount can be combined with sponsorship, if you are going that route. Which reminds me I must add myself to the sponsorship thread!

I'd say it'll take 10-15 minutes to get a family of 6 processed in the Passport office once you get to see someone.

How long it takes you to see someone depends on how busy it is, I waited a couple of minutes. but guess this could vary.

Just need to take the sponsorship form with you (will have had it sent to you by your sponsor) and get it signed/stamped by the AP office then return it to sponsor
