We were planning on doing the Steakhouse character brunch but I've just checked prices and it's not that much more.

Which characters are you likely to see at each one? Which would you choose? Is Inventions worth the extra €20ish for a family of 5? Has anyone been to both and can compare the 2 for me? Anything else you can think of that may help make my mind up?

Any feedback appreciated :goodvibes

We have not been to both, but we all loved the Inventions character brunch when we went over Halloween. It was a Snow White theme that day. It was probably some of the best character interaction the whole trip and the food was great.

The Inventions theme changes every week, I think, but there is usually a thread here with the info on which theme on which dates.

I was deliberating over this the other day too! Ive decided to go for Inventions as there's more characters there. From what I've read, there's only 2 at the Steakhouse. Although it's worth finding out the theme at inventions as this might be deciding factor for you. :)

We've decided to try the Inventions brunch, we're staying at the DLH for the fist time and will arrive on the Sunday mid morning so figured it would be an amazing way to begin our holiday! :cloud9:

That's great thanks guys. I hadn't realised it was a theme at Inventions... that could well be the deciding factor.

Lolsmum, whenbyou say Snow White theme... was Snow White herself there? I was under the impression you could only dine with princesses at the Auberge?

It's definitely worth the extra for the Inventions brunch. It's a few years since we've been to The Steakhouse brunch and it was always very good (both food and characters) however the food at the Inventions one is in a different league.

Anyone any idea of the price of the brunch in the steak house ?.
I've booked It for our last day we will use our last plus meal v.
Would like to tell DH how much we need to out to it.

Auberge is the dedicated princess meal. But Inventions does have some princess related themes on the rotation. The Snow White one has her and all dwarves, there's a Fairytale one with Rapunzel and Flynn, Brunch Royal with Cinderella, the mice and the Prince and in the past there's also been "under the Sea" with Aladdin, an Arabian brunch with Aladdin and Jasmine and "New Orleans" with Tiana.

Yes, it was Snow White and all 7 dwarves, though Doc had "broken his glasses" and couldn't sign autographs. Princess Minnie, Prince Mickey and Jester Goofy were all there too.

Wow that's amazing, thanks for the info, think we'll defo go for Inventions.

Does anyone know how far in advance they can tell you which theme it will be?
