I haven't eaten at Steak and Ale in probably six years, but I recall the prices being quite reasonable. I don't think anything was over $20 or so, most entrees were in the $14-16 range. HTH.
FYI - Since this is the 2nd time this type of question has come up this week, anytime you need info like this, just go to Google and search for "restaurant name menu prices". For example, "steak and ale menu prices" or "ruth's chris menu prices". I always find them that way.
I wish the Steak & Ale by me would close. It's dirty & disgusting, and the food is terrible. I haven't been there in 5-6 years because the quality had fallen so terribly.

Is that the one in Edison? That was the last Steak & Ale I ate at--like I said, many years ago, and it was OK but service was bad now that I think about it.

Yes, the one in Edison on Route 1 between Menlo Park Mall & Woodbridge Center. We used to go at least once a month for office parties because they were quick & reasonably priced, and then it went downhill.
The only time I ever see it really crowded anymore is on Saturday afternoons.
Last year we went to the steak and ale somewhere near seaworld. I just want to make sure it is still open before I order gift cards. Has anyone been there recently? We loved the hamburgers and salad bar.
