We are going to be staying onsite at BCV in September. DH and I were thinking of doing a one day trip to IOA to check it out.

We will not have a car. What would be the best way to get there from WDW, is there some sort of shuttle we can take or anything besides renting a car for a day?

Will we be able to see most of it in one day? We are trying to figure out if it's worth going and giving up a day at Disney. How are the crowds mid-September?

Thanks for your help :cool1:

Your best bet getting to IOA is Mears Transportation. You would need to call and make arrangements 24 hours prior to when you would like to go.

You can check out the website for more information: www.mearstransportation.com

You should be able to do most everything you want to do ...especially if you're going to skip the coasters. I would try to get there at opening to keep the lines at a minimum.

We've always just taken a cab to and from our hotel when we wanted to visit Universal. It's been a couple years, but the last time we did it the cost was about $35 each way.

We plan to do it this year to see that little known wizard boy :)

What a great question! We are planning on doing the same in December. Has anyone used any of the limo services before or is a cab just easier?

If you haven't bought your ticket yet the best is to buy the ticket with the transfer

shuttles are ok but I would definately check on a car rental prices as well. It may be way cheaper and then you have the freedom to leave mid day and come back easily.

IofA can be done in one day. I would start in MArvel land and circle around the park. Areas that I think are kinda skippable would be toon and lost continent. If you start in marvel and more quickly from ride to ride you might be able to hit all the top rides by 11 ish. Then give yourself plenty of time to enjoy lunch and potter land. good luck and have a wonderful time!
