Staying on-site at Universal, want to rent a car for just one day.

Hi,
Does anybody know of a car rental place that is close to the Universal Resorts? We want to rent a car for just one day during our trip. Would they pick us up at the resort?

You could try renting from the car care center at WDW or the Dolphin resort...

I've answered a few posts about 1 day rentals...and my advice is to use www.priceline.com for a rate. I did this in October for a car in Milwaukee (we needed transportation to get us TO the airport for our flight). I got a full-size car for $34/total. This is much better than the $60+ I would have paid just booking it online. We got a car through Avis and it is all paid for. The downside to using Priceline is that you need to pay for it right away and there is a no cancellation and no refund policy. I figured this was okay because it was just $34 I was paying upfront...

I know Alamo and National are both onsite at WDW and you could try Enterprise who will "pick you up".

I would do alamo using coupon codes from www.mousesavers.com, pick up at car care center at WDW or the Dolphin resort.

Are you staying at Disney at all? I was under the impression that you were staying at Universal the entire time. There is a car rental location on-site at the Universal hotels. I believe it's a Hertz.
