Hey folks!

Exactly how does this work... If I'm having a reception at the LS and there is going to be about 3-4 hours between the end of the reception and the dessert party, how do my guests go from the reception to the park if they want to use an admission and walk around?

Do they have to take the bus back to their hotel and then take transportation back? Or do they bus them to the entrance? Does a castmember take their passes and scan them for them?

TIA!

We have hours too-though our reception is not at Epcot- we are planning on meeting everyone-in the park or not at the International Gateway and walking to the dessert party.hth

You're going to have to discuss this with the FTW folks. If your guests are dressed up, they probably won't want to be wandering around a theme park in their finery (high heels can be murder, plus a skirt/dress can be uncomfortable when a lot of walking is involved in warm/hot weather).

As to the wedding party, they won't be allowed to wander around a theme park in their wedding attire (bridal gown, tuxedo, etc.). Disney is very strict with this rule.

My guess is that after your LS meal, your guests/wedding party will be transported back to their resorts via the private motor coach that you have hired. When the time comes for the dessert party, that same private motor coach (if you have hired it for the day) will pick everyone up at their resorts and transport them backstage at Epcot. A Disney Guide(s) will be waiting there in order to lead them to the dessert venue.

Will you be paying a viewing fee for each of the guests at your dessert party, or will you be requiring them to have theme park tickets for that day? Please discuss this with the FTW folks, if you haven't already.

I'm sure the FTW folks will have the perfect solution for your event's needs. After you've discussed things with them, please let us know how your day will unfold.
