We are staying in Sept. and I already made my dining reservations. However, due to some slight changes we are going to Magic Kingdom on a Saturday and Sunday. Is this a bad move? Is it way more crowded on the weekends then on the weekdays? Advice sure appreciated!

When we went we park hopped. HS had early entry so we went there then after lunch came back to room to rest. MK stayed open with EMH til 2 am so we went back about 6pm til 1ish. Usually after the fireworks people start leaving. Sunday won't be as crowded. Hope this helps

I'm staying off site...and I thought parks close earlier around that time? Is that true? I'm probably wrong.

What do you recommend? Thank you!!!

If you get to the parks at rope drop and tour efficiently early on you'll still have manageable crowds until 11ish. Obviously the weekend will be busier than a wed/Thursday. We are going in sept as well and do have a Sunday we will be at MK so we'll just go with the flow.

Year to year crowds can change, but we went the last week of August into the first week of September and the waits were minimal on most rides except SDMT & A&E meet/greet.
