I will be staying in one of updated Coronado Springs rooms (currently only building 7A) for the next couple days and will be happy to answer any questions anyone might have.
If you see anyone that might know, ask how long till the next building they are working on (I think it's 8A) is completed. I am headed down in 4 weeks & was hoping for a refurbished room, but I only could book a Waterview and 7A doesn't have water view. Thanks!!
I will be sure to get some but will have to wait until they clean the room and before my 2 year old destroys it.Thank you!!!
Please post pictures.![]()

Unfortunately they are still only able to accommodate 4 full size people. If you have an infant they could sleep in a pack and play or something similar. Wish I had better news.Do these new rooms sleep 5 people now? Have always wanted to stay there but we are a family of 5 and don't fit currently in a regular room.
Standard roomWhat room (water view, standard, preferred) did you book? and do you think it upped our chances of a preferred?
I did online check in.Did you do online check in? or wait to check in when you got there?
I called the resort a week before my arrival as requested building 7a. They can't always fulfill these requests but they came through this time. Was your room random or did you do something to get the refurb?
At least two months for cabana 8a to be completed.
Here are the pictures I promised. Ignore my personal my personal effects such as the pack abs play.I will be sure to get some but will have to wait until they clean the room and before my 2 year old destroys it.
I haven't noticed too much. However my wife commented that she has heard the neighbours more than other resorts we've stayed in. This is our first time at Coronado so I can't compare directly at this resort.Wow! Swanky McSwanksville. I like the updates, as different as they are.
Question -- how are you finding the hard floors? There's been chatter about the hard floors being an issue in new refurbs due to sound travelling better than ever.
It looks like a wine cooler or something. I noticed when we first got here it wasn't very cold but I turned it all the way up and have kept water and milk for several days as they have been cold. Certainly don't plan on keeping anything frozen though. I'll post pictures tomorrow. So how is the fridge?
I thought there were talk about it being more of a cooler than an actual refrigerator.
