Staying in Beach Club Villa, January '06 - Anyone have advice!

This is our first "winter" trip to DW. Can anyone offer some advice, warnings, etc. Is it going to be a welcome change from the heat/humidity?

Also this is our first stay at the BCV. We made a tradition of always dining the first night at Cape May Cafe and strolling to World Showcase for Illuminations. We fall in love with that place evertime we set foot in there. Any Beach Club Pro's out there care to offer some advice on the resort.

We have stayed in the Beach Club Villas twice and are heading back for our third visit in October. We LOVE it here. The area is wonderful and convenient and the atmosphere is great.The villa itself is well appointed and very comfortable. There are some long hallways however.

Only stayed there once while rennovations were ongoing at YC. We had a 1 bedroom on the 1st floor. I thought it was very nice, very large, well furnished and relaxing. DS was 11 at the time and he hated it. We did not have a lake view - had a beautiful courtyard though - anyway, he just felt like he was out of the Magical Loop or something. I thought it was very nice.

DH and I stayed at BCV when they first opened. We really enjoyed being so close to the Boardwalk, and in walking distance to Epcot. We requested a room with a view of Epcot...and while it overlooked some road - we did have a wonderful view of Spaceship Earth which looked beautiful when lit up at night.

I will be at the Beach Club Villas in 53 more days, it is also my first time to stay here! And I am really looking forward to it!!!!!! I will let you know how it is when I get back.

I'll be there in 54 days. This is my first time there also. Last time we went we stayed at the Boardwalk Villas which was great. I hope the BCV will also be as nice.
