Staying @ Hampton Inn Cocoa Beach the night before the cruise

Hi We'll be going on our 2nd cruise this February & will be staying overnight @ the Hampton Inn Cocoa Beach. Has anyone stayed there recently? And how long does it take to get to Port Canaveral from the hotel? Thanks for any info! Cathie

We stayed there a summer ago before our trip. The highlight of staying there was our visit to Ron Jon's before the cruise. Our DDs (teens) wanted to go back before this year's cruise. It's a few minutes down the road from the cruise. The beach is pretty nice but you have to walk alittle to get to it.
