We are making our 5th WDW trip soon and I have never ridden Splash Mountain. I have no fear over the drop but I am a big baby when it comes to getting wet. I especially hate soggy shoes. We will be there the first week of November so I am assuming the jets are still on. What do others do to stay dry? Should I sit in a certain seat? Should I do a poncho? Do they turn the water jets off at a certain time/temp?

The front right seat gets the wettest, I believe. I think I was told there are three levels they can adjust based on weather. The guy at the photo station knew immediately where I had sat (very wet) and said they had it on the highest sterol that day (he told me of the three). Why, I do not know. It was mid-late November, late morning, and maybe 75 degrees?

It's mostly luck - it depends on how much water they have going that day and where your boat is located when they splash the water. Your best bet is to dress light and wear a poncho!
