Staying at Tropicana for disney expo

Hello There, I am so excited to be coming back to Disney Land in September.
We are staying at the Tropicana Hotel. I was wondering if anyone knows about this hotel. How far is it from convention center etc... I was just wondering because I have only stayed on property in the past. We got an excellent deal at Trop so... I appreciate any info you are willing to share.

The Trop is right across the street from the DLR, it's not that close to the convention center at all. If you don't have a car you will want to take a taxi or ART to the convention center. If you're just going to DL then you're fine, you just cross the street (at the crosswalk of course) and there you are.

I would say it is just over one mile. I would think ART would be a good way to get there but if you have a small group then a taxi would be more economical and convenient. You could walk but it is a long walk.
