Staying at the Swan- New Years Eve at the resort/Boardwalk area question

We havent been to Disney since 2017 so clearly this will be a whole new experience for us in the current COVID world. We are staying at the Swan and have a 700pm rez on New Years Eve. Just wondering if the resort will be doing anything for NYE or possibly the Boardwalk area? Maybe even Downtown Disney? We are a family of 4, 2 teenagers. Thanks!!

From the information given out so far, it doesn't look like much will be happening. They keep talking about celebrating in your hotel room.

We just stayed at the swan and sat on our balcony looking at the lights and listening to music. To us it was beautiful and special. Cabana bar has great food and phinns at the dolphin is fun. Don't know how late they are open. You can walk to yacht and boardwalk and take boats to the parks. Again don't know how late anything is open. We ordered pizza from outside (flippers) and ate in a courtyard that was very pretty. I think Swan is a perfect place to stay with the covid restrictions.
