Due to budget constraints, and the fact that air and WDW tickets are already purchased, we are staying at Rodeway Inn for or trip in Oct. Has anyone stayed here? Is it really a "you get what you paid for" kind of hotel? I am no expecting the Hilton , just a place to sleep since we will be spending most of our waking hours at WDW. Please tell me how it is . Thanks!

Not sure what you are paying but there are many nice hotels with specials right now and also some nice ones can be had on Priceline..check out www.biddingfortravel.com to see what hotels come up and for how much.

I originally had the one in Kissemee booked at $28.00 a night for this past weekend. I got so many emails from my friends telling me not to stay there. My friend Sharon (AMickeyfan) stayed there, she is queen of "Just give me a place to sleep" she calls it the Roachway hotel. I decided to do Priceline & for the same money got the Clarion which was fine! Go for Priceline!!

We are staying at the Maingate one that DU is offering a special on

Same one. BTW, it's listed under the 1* category on Priceline, so you could probably get it for $15.00 a night.
