Staying at the Hock Rock Hotel --- Garden or Pool Room

Hello everyone.
I'm staying at the HRH November 3 to November 7. I'm going with my two oldest boys, two other moms, and their kids. I booked a garden view room, becase it was $20 less than the pool view, but now I'm wondering if the pool view is worth the extra $80? My two friends each booked pool view rooms.

Any opinions? I know that a deluxe room would be the best, but at this point, it's $100 more a night, so I can't do that. I can do $80 more but not $400 more!!!

Been in both, I wouldnt pay the extra, sometimes the pool view rooms are pretty obstructed.

Spend the $80 on something else.

I agree with pathubia. I have also stayed in both and actually prefer the garden view. When we were in a pool view room we could hear the bass from the music at the pool when we wanted an afternoon rest.

The best garden view is of the boat dock, which was very pleasant for us. Also a pool view can be seen from the elevators. They have a chair on each floor there so you can enjoy the view.

If you decide on a pool view, request your room on the 6th floor. You *should* get a good view of the pool and parks.
