Staying at Pop with a car, worth driving or stick with Skyliner or Disney buses when going to parks?

Only have 2-day park hopper passes and want to maximize our time, more so getting to the park early and being able to bypass lines and so on if driving our own car will help?

Thoughts?

For MK, driving means parking at TTC and taking monorail or ferry to get to the entrance, whereas bus drops you off at the entrance. So bus to MK is better.

For AK, bus vs car may be a toss up.

For Epcot and DHS, I’d take the Skyliner, especially if you want to ride Remy first because Skyliner drops you off at IG whereas you would park at the front entrance.

If you use Disney transportation, be at the bus stop or Skyliner station 90 minutes before early opening time, to be near front of the crowds.

If you drive, parking lots open 1 hour before early opening.

We always drive to WDW, park our car and never get in it again unless we are doing a split stay to change resorts. I actually like using Disney transportation and it beats me getting lost trying to get to the park(s), added bonus, we can enjoy a refreshing adult beverage and not worry about driving.

I would skip the car especially if you’re park hopping. Super easy to get to HS and Epcot from the Skyliner. MK you would have to park at TTC instead so you have to ferry/monorail it to MK.

I'm going to disagree with PP. I normally stick with Disney transportation. Easy and relaxing. BUT
OP wants to maximize park time. Posters have split their group and compared driving with Disney transportation. Driving was almost always faster, even the MK. Ferry from TTC to the MK is about 15 minutes. You can easily wait 20 to 30 minutes for a bus.

I would definitely drive to the AK. I would drive to the MK. IF I was going to hop from the MK. Drive to EPCOT or DHS if you're going to hop to MK or EPCOT the same day.

I'd probably stick with Disney transportation if I was just doing DHS and EPCOT same day.
