Staying at Kidani AKV and have a ?? and need video or photo's

I was wondering, now that we are DVC member's and will be staying at AKV in a savannah view room and am wondering what floor is the best for views of the animals? Low or high? Any ideas will help and if you have photo's or video that would help too. Thanks

I've heard people suggest lower floors---more on the same level as the animals.....
we had a savanna view in Jambo on 5th floor. Probably lower would have been even better.........but the DVC villas are only on floors 5 & 6 in Jambo I believe, so you'd have to go with Kidani if you wanted a lower floor.

We stayed in November on the 2nd floor and it was perfect. I would highly recommend 2nd or 3rd floor for best upclose viewing.

We requested an upper level for our visit last summer because we thought we would be able to see MORE of the savanna. We really wish we wouldn't have done that. We could only see the animals if they were close to us. All we saw were the tops of the trees. For our trip in March we will be requesting a lower level.

We stayed on the same floor as the lobby in Kidani which I think is considered the 2nd floor and we had a wonderful view off our balcony. It was awesome. I will post pictures for you as soon as I can. I definitely would recommed a low floor.

When staying on the lower floors do you get the constant footstep noise from the room above? I would love a great view but the footsteps are a pet peeve of mine. Which floor would be best.

We usually request the top floor in any hotel to avoid the noise above, but we requested 2nd floor for our savannah view, and we didn't hear any noise above us at all. That was Thanksgiving week, so I'd think the resort was pretty full and we didn't just happen to be below an empty room. We were in the third bead down past Community Hall and the arcade.
