Hi everyone!

I'd like to plot out our route to the grocery store from the airport on our way to BWV on Saturday ( :cool1: ). Any recommendations? TIA!

I'm a fan of taking Central Florida Greenway (417) to the Hunter's Creek Super Target just off Orange Blossom Trail. It's an easy trip and having a real supermarket combined with Target is very handy.

Thank you! I've just plotted out directions. :thumbsup2

Our advice is to stay away from Goodies unless you want to take out a second mortage to pay for it.

CNMooner, FYI, the Central Florida Greenway is a toll road (like every major road out of the airport). I found a post I wrote about getting to that Super Target back in May:
"If you go there from the airport, take the 417 South (manned toll at Boggy Creek/airport ramp = $1) to exit 11, Orange Blossom Trail (SR 441). The toll to exit at 11 is, indeed, 50 cents. There's no toll to re-enter, but you will have to pay a toll at a manned toll booth to exit for Disney. Turn right onto Orange Blossom Trail and travel about a quarter mile. The Super Target is on the right. When you leave Super Target, it's easier to exit from the side driveway on Town Center Drive. There's a light at that intersection. If you try to exit from the OBT driveway, you'll have to make a U-turn at that light anyway. Go under the 417 overpass to turn left and enter 417 South again. (Don't do what I did and turn too soon- it costs $1.25 to turn around on the 417 North! ) Take the International Drive/SR 536 exit and pay the manned booth $1. The road you're actually on is World Center Drive, which turns into Epcot Center Dr once you pass through those pretty purple gates!

The tolls are a lot of hassle, but that area is just riddled with toll roads. I just try to remember that $2.50 is the cost of two small bottles of water in the theme parks!"

Oh, and the Orange Blossom Trail exit is unmanned, I think, so keep a couple of quarters handy!

We always fax our order the day before to Albertson's which I think is also on Orange Blossom Trail. Then it takes about 10 minutes to go in and pay for it and load it into the car. We've done this three times and it has always worked out great. But I'm interested to know about that SuperTarget, we may just take the time next time and stop there.

I second the Albertson's suggestion. They shop for you (for no charge) so you just "pick up". It's a quick in and out. They also have grownup drinks for purchase :)

We also go to the Publix. My time worth a lot in Disney. I would rather pay a lttle more and spend as little time food shopping as possible. I can think of lots of other places I want to be in WDW than any store.

We go to Publix. We go there pretty much every time we go to WDW, so I am getting to know the store and can get in and out pretty quickly.

I don't care much for Albertson's....it's too confusing with the aisles going in different directions.

Another Publix shopper here. I find it to be closer so more convenient, especially if I'm just shopping for grocery type items.
