hello can anyone help me PLEASE
I am going to florida in may for my honeymoon we are going to both universal studios and disneyworld we are staying at the boardwalk the whole time we are going to universal for the first 3 days then we are going to disney.
NOW time for my question sorry
Is there any easier way of transportation besides renting a car or taking a taxi?
PLEASE HELP ME
THANK YOU SO MUCH :confused3

If you discount rental cars and taxis (including town cars?), your only options are Mears shuttle and Lynx/I-drive trolley.

The latter is hard work -- bus Boardwalk to MK - Monorail to TTC - Lynx bus to Seaworld - I Drive trolley to Universal.

Do you know when they all run till
does any of these cost anything?
Thanks alot i really appreciate all this

I've already posted to one thread regarding this issue, so won't repeat myself. But, and please don't take this the wrong way, you are already spending a ton of money on this trip. I would try to scrape a bit more together and book a towncar to Universal. I would plan on cutting back on my Universal days, or change my resort to one closer to Universal for the days you'll be there. It's a huge pain to get from WDW to Universal without a car or using a towncar or a cab.
If you did Universal for two days, rather then three, it would cost you about $150 total....$65 for each trip with a tip added. That's not much in the big picture.
Have a great trip, and a wonderful wedding. And Welcome to the DIS boards. Be sure to come back and tell us all about your trip and how it went!!!

If I were on my honeymoon, I would book two or three nights at Portofino Bay at Universal and then stay at the Boardwalk Inn. You will go to the front of the line by staying on-site at Universal, you won't have to drive back and forth and both hotels are beautiful. Portofino Bay is very romantic. Rooms are gorgeous.

It's a win/win situation.

If you don't want to stay at Universal, I would rent a car.

I would rent a car, unless of course you're under 25 in which case it can get really expensive. If it's just the two of you rent an economy car. I have frequently gotten rates that are amazingly cheap. Plus it allows you to make stops along the way, like at the Character Warehouse for some discount souvenirs.

I agree with the previous two posters and rent a car if you possibly can. There are many discount codes online for rental cars - try Mousesavers.com for some good ones.

DH and I have always used rental car even back when we were in our 20's with no kids. Even within WDW, it is much faster to get to Pleasure Island and Downtown Disney with a car.

If you decide to forgo the rental, I also agree with staying directly on Universal property for a few days to tour those two parks. That is what we are doing in August.

I stayed at the Hard Rock Hotel a few years ago and it granted us front of the line access. I'm not sure that they still do that but it is worth looking into.
