We will be trying out BLT for the first time in May 2021. We were supposed to be there May 2020...but that obviously did not happen. We will do 3 nights in a grand villa, and then 8 nights at Beach Club with a 2 bedroom and a studio. It will be myself, my husband, my daughter and her husband and their, yet to be born, baby boy, and my other daughter and her boyfriend. We are very excited to try out BLT and know we will love being able to walk to Magic Kingdom. So tell me what you love about BLT and what are the must sees and the must dos?

We love the proximity to MK and being on the monorail loop. Plenty of dining options at the MK area resorts. Some of our favorites are Contempo Cafe, O’Hana, Captain Cooks, and Whispering Canyon.

We love O’hana and its a must do every visit. I think we will enjoy spending a few days in the Magic Kingdom area.

We only stayed at BLT once but I loved it. We had a high room with lake view, very nice looking out onto the water with pool below and boat activity on water. Good place to view the Electric Water Parade, one of my (many) favorite Disney things. ::yes:: Very convenient to monorail and boarding is before T&T so if your going at a busy time of year you should still be able to board the monorail meaning it shouldn't be so full that they won't let you board as I have seen happen at the Poly and GF.

Another nice thing about staying in a MK resort is taking advantage of all that area has to offer while you are there. It's much easier to get back to your room when dining or other evening activity in MK area when staying in that area then when you are in the BC area. Top of the World Lounge is really nice to visit and watch fireworks from this location. We mostly stay at BW (DHs favorite) so we pretty much never go to ToW because it's too hard to get back to BW at end of night. One of my favorite dining spots is Narcoossee's at GF but again best to visit while staying in the MK area.

I'm sure you will enjoy your visit very much. If I were going to buy points at a different resort BLT would be at the top of my list. Enjoy! pixiedust:

We own at Beach Club and Animal Kingdom. We love the Epcot resort area because you can walk to so much I’m considering a purchase at BLT. I know we are going to love it. We have never dined at Narcoossees...need to try it. What do you like about it? We love California Grill. Never a bad experience. Love Ohana and Hoop Dee Doo and will do those early in the trip for easy access. Thank you for you comment.

We've stayed 3 times at BLT, and always enjoy it. we LOVE being able to either walk to MK, or hop on te monorail to get to the other resorts, or TTC. Also can take boat to WL if eating there/visiting. Walking to MK tho, is so great! We also love the extra bathroom you get in the 1 and 2 bedroom units. LOOOOOVE that. Wish they all did that. Also great to be close to Contemporary, and all the monorail resort food. It'll be fun! Enjoy! PS we own at BWV, so it's hard to give up that location sometimes. We often did the split between BLT and BWV like y'all.

There is on handicap room for the Lakeview 3bedroom units so if you don’t want that put it in your request.

I meant to say there is one handicap unit for the 3 bedroom lake view units. I prefer the regular shower.

I guess what drew me to Narcoossees to begin with is the building itself. IMHO it is a very pretty building and a place I wanted to visit. It's like a giant gazebo and I love gazebo's. ::yes:: The interior of the building is also very pretty and has a beachy feel to it. I love all the windows and the shutters that are all along the exterior wall. You have a lovely view of the lake and its also a good place to view the MK fireworks and the Electric Water Parade (they pipe the music into the building).

Now the important part, the food! I think the food here is very good, they have a nice selection of steaks and seafood along with nice accompaniments if you can eat that much. I don't usual get an appetizer or dessert because I just don't have room for all that food. Just like all restaurants at WDW it is on the pricey side but no worse than The California Grill.

FYI DH and I have eaten at the California Grill several times (to give it a fair chance) and we aren't big fans. We love the views from this location but the food just doesn't really do it for us :sad2:...not sure if that has any bearing on how you may feel about Narecoossees but it may be an indicator that we may have different tastes in food? I hope not, I hope you try it and that you enjoy it as much as we have.
