I know universal has Tesla chargers at the hotels, is there anyplace to charge a Tesla at BLT? I know there is a supercharger in the vicinity of Disney, but I'm going to just make it to the hotel so its iffy if I make it to the charger afterwards and I really don't want to stop beforehand on the way up.

I just did a quick search, and according to Disney, it sounds like they have some at Wilderness Lodge, Coronado Springs, and Riviera. I think there are some at Disney Springs and the theme parks too.

Do a quick google search. There are all sorts of charging stations, both superchargers and destination chargers. The one closest to BLT is not a Tesla charger, but chargepoint.

Btw, my nephew owns a Tesla. They are very nice!!!!

Was really hoping they would have one at the hotel by now. Universal has had them for years

We're gonna be taking my Model 3P from Virginia to Disney this year on our June/July trip instead of the truck. It's a 8night Disney then 7 night Universal trip for us. It seems like practically I'm basically just going to have to charge every couple days at a supercharger off property and keep it topped off however once we get to Royal Pacific we should be able to use the LVL2 chargers on site which is nice. I'll remember to report back during/after the trip on how the practicality of keeping charged while staying on property.

Edit: Called Shades of Green and they actually have 2 Tesla wall chargers installed at the valet spots to use for free, you just have to move when you're done charging. I'd never thought the military would get free Tesla chargers before Disney haha.

Just a disclaimer that is needed since Shades of Green (SoG) is part of the US Armed Forces Recreation Centers (AFRC) Resorts. It is a military resort property, with Force Protection practices in place it is not open to the general public.

It is a secured facility with a guarded gate for controlled access to the resort. Whether you’re an overnight guest or stopping by Shades of Green to pick up tickets or visit the spa, you will need to show your Military I.D. card. If you’re a sponsored guest, you need to show your Resort I.D. card and photo identification.
