Staying at an Econo Lodge for under $30.00..question

I needed a hotel for the first two and then the last two nights of our stay. I've been researching and researching. The cheapest I found was $27.49 a night per room (this is for this October). Just wanted to make sure I am getting the cheapest room I can. I can't imagine something cheaper than that but just thought I'd ask. Thanks!

I was wrong - it isn't Clarion (not sure where I got that from). It's an Econo Lodge. I found the rate here.

If you want the cheapest room possible and don't care where you could always bid on Priceline. Do you need cheaper than $27 per night?

I have never used priceline...I'll have to look into it - see I need two rooms due to 6 people so just wanted to get cheap, cheap if I can.

Just put 6 people in your $27 room. Don't tell the front desk.

I did notice there was an $8.95 per day fee per room at the motel. Don't forget to consider that. Good luck!

I've posted this before, but our family of 6 has stayed and will stay again at Comfort Suites Maingate East for $69 (not much more than your price for 2 rooms). It was very clean, gets great reviews on Tripadvisor and has a very nice full breakfast included for the price . My kids loved the Mickey waffles especially . Breakfast for our crew would run at least $20, so it's definitely a great deal!

There are no additional fees aside from taxes and I think our whole bill for 1 night is about $83

ETA - I would check out the tripadvisor reviews for that Econolodge, they're pretty bad.

Thank you for pointing that out. Between that extra charge and the very poor ratings/reviews, I have decided to change my mind. I found a Red Roof Inn that has better ratings, the free breakfast, the free shuttle and the room is only $39.99 a night per room. Plus, upon booking, my email confirmation reflects a price total os $74. and some change so I think he even gave me a better rate or something. Thank you all for your help.
