Staying at all the resorts? How close are you to finishing?

Not counting the DVC properties by themselves if they are attached to another resort but counting all the all stars individually by my count there are 20 different resorts (26 if you count the DVC add ons).

So my question is how many have you stayed at so far?

I just decided to add this challenge to my bucket list and so far I've stayed at 1 :lmao: All Star Sports in 2000. This November we'll be checking off 2 more resorts, Port Orleans Riverside and Art of Animation. Since I'm only 35 I figure I have enough years in my life left to complete this goal.

All Star Sports
Pop Century
POR (Dixie Landings)
POFQ
Coronado Springs
Animal Kingdom Lodge
Polynesian
Beach Club (Oct. '12)

So ... eight.

Down to the Yacht Club, the Grand Floridian, Fort Wilderness and Art of Animation (AOA is booked for November, GF will wait until the DVC opens because I'm not interested in paying to stay there).

Several years ago, I thought staying at all the resorts would be a fun goal to have. But now that I've stayed at several I've realized that there are some resorts I have absolutely no desire to stay at while there are others that I would love to stay at multiple times. So I've abandoned my plans to try every resort. But there are still a few resorts that I'd like to try that I haven't yet. I have stayed at all 4 of the moderates so at least I've completed that category. My next trip (in two years) will probably knock BC or YC off my list.

I plan to eventually stay at all the Deluxe resorts and have so far done YC, BC, BWI, GF and AKL (with Poly, CR and WL still to go). No desire to stay at any of the other resorts.

This is me too. Unless I did a one nighter just to say I was there, I have zero desire to ever stay at an All Star. I miiiiight try Pop sometime but only if it was at a slower time for a shorter stay in the cooler months.
OKW, SS, and the Cabins hold very little appeal for me as well. Nice place to visit, wouldn't want to stay there.
I'm also not real interested in CSR or CBR but I wouldn't totally rule out CBR.
Contemporary bores me.
I do plan to stay at GF when I take my DD for a Mommy and Me trip.

So far I've been to POR, POFQ, BC, AKL-both, Poly, and WL. The only one I have no desire to go back to is Poly. So I have several I know I like and I'll most likely stick with those.

Hate to admit it, but I'd say we are Deluxe Snobs too. Oh well...YOLO right?

(yolo = you only live once, for those of you who don't know- its okay, I didn't know until last night...)

Fort Wilderness
Wilderness
Contemporary
Polynesian
Animal Kingdom, Kidani
Boardwalk Villas - Jan, 2013

Still need to visit:
CBR
AOA

I havent stayed at CR or Allstars, but have no desire to.

Trying POP for the 1st time this August:thumbsup2

For me and my family we've stayed at
Wilderness Lodge
Animal Kingdom Lodge.
We're trying to stay where we can before our 2 y/o turns 3.
Next on the list is maybe POFQ

We have stayed at
POP and Sport
all Mods
all villas except OKW and prob never will
All deluxe except GF...........someday
Even the Swan.

Haven't stayed a single DVC - not really interested, except maybe in the treehouses.

But have stayed all (including each All Star) but

Contemporary
Boardwalk
Coronado
AOA

I have only stayed at two S/D and ASMo. To be honest I think I am a Value/Mod snob (does such an animal exist?). I have very little desire to explore the Deluxes mainly because I don't think they compare to my expectations from a non-Disney deluxe. Maybe someday I will get up there and try the Poly or BC/YC which are probably what I would try if I did it. For now, AoA, POR, ASMu and maybe AS Sports is next!

if there's no FD when we go next April I plan to knock 2 off my list. Going to split between AoA-LM rooms (just the night we arrive), AKL (4 days), and BC ( 3 days have stayed at BC before but want to end our trip there)

I have a lot to go before I finish but that's been on my bucket list for years! We're getting APs when we go in April so I hope to have a few more places under my belt this next year.

I'm pretty close to staying at all the resorts I want to stay at. Some I have no interest in staying at.
Of the ones left that I'm interested in staying at but haven't yet is- GF,& YC, really that's about it. Not very interested in the Values, but out of curiosity am going to visit AoA during next trip, it's perked my curiosity.

We've stayed at Poly, BC, WL x3, AKL, CBR & POR x3.

No interest in BWI or CR, or CSR. However out of curiosity may one day try CSR & CR. I just love POR, so it has been my choice for mod. stays.

Left on my list:
Grand Floridian
Yacht Club
Boardwalk
Coronado
Riverside
All Star Music
All Star Sport
Animation
Saratoga Springs

So that is 8 left to go!

Ditto. I find that I could return to AKL, Kidani or BC for every trip & be happy, and have some I never tried, that I really never want to. But so far I've stayed at about half of them.

I have stayed at a few WDW resorts, as well as several DVC resorts with a friend:

All Star Movies
All Star Sports
All Star Music
(I'll stay at Art of Animation in December)

I have stayed at no moderate resorts

Animal Kingdom Lodge
Wilderness Lodge
WDW Dolphin
WDW Swan
Beach Club Villas (DVC)
Boardwalk Villas (DVC)
Old Key West (DVC)
Saratoga Springs (DVC)

I love the Swan & Dolphin and have no interest in paying more to stay at the other Epcot resorts (YC/BC/BWI).

I am unwilling to pay Disney's prices at the Contemporary, Polynesian, or Grand Floridian - although I'd love the GF.
