Staying at a Disney resort instead of your home resort?

Hi everyone! I'm a very new member just 2 days old, very excited and very happy to be apart of the club I just bought in to AKV. Just gave the down payment today.

I have a question:

If I choose to stay on WDW property and I choose ex. CBR, instead of going home AKV how does the points work. Does anyone have a link to this.

There are points charts for the resorts in the blue member book (the hard back DVC book) - do you have that? And then you would pay a $95 fee on top of the points. Points for the non-DVC resorts are generally high, compared to using them for DVC accommodations.
