We just decided on a trip in Jan or early Feb. Last time we stayed at Windsor Hills and loved the short drive to Disney. So we were wondering if anyone could recommend any other condos that are close like Windsor Hills? We had thought about doing the 4/3 deal at Disney, but are concerned about some of the long wait times for buses and we found it super easy to drive back and forth from Windsor Hills to the park each day.
Thanks!

we just came back from our fourth stay with Loyalty Vacation Homes, and had a blast. We have stayed in a Windsor Hills homewith them before, this time we stayed at a great home just 1/2 mile from Windsor Hills, it is called Hollywood Nights, loyaltyusa . we had our own movie room, which we all loved to come home to at night. There was not a water park and all the other community stuff like on Windsor Hills, but we felt that we did not need to go out.
Try them, they have some great homes, we have never been disappointed.

We stayed at WH last time too but are doing the 4/3 deal at POR this time when we go in February. I did a full cost analysis between the two and it turned out that with a full size rental car it came out almost exactly the same cost as staying on sight with a rental car vs staying at a condo with a rental car. The condo initially seems cheaper but don't forget that with the 4/3 deal you are saving a little bit on each ticket you buy as well as $14 a day on parking. Here is what I had for numbers

Condo with 7 day park hopper and Car Rental and Parking = $2177
Moderate with 7 day park hopper and Car Rental = $2140
Moderate with 7 day park hopper and no car - $1920
Value with 7 day park hopper and car Rental = $1962
Value with 7 day park hopper and no car = $1961

This is for two people and includes all extras like taxes, cleaning fees, etc. We went with the moderate and no car and decided that even if there was a little bit of a wait for the bus it was worth the $257 difference.

Thanks for the information and the price compparision maybe I will give some more thought to staying at CBR.

There's some really good deals now on offsite villa-like properties. Search some of the other Disney discount sites or check here on the DIS under discounts. Sheraton Vistana Village had a less than $100 per nt rate which, even with a car, should be cheaper than on site with better amenities. I like Windsor Hills too. Stayed at other offsite areas but none as close as WH. The Vistana resort is up on I Drive a bit but not too far. Also, Gaylord Palms (very close & convenient) has some good discounts now. Also, since you are close to your dates check the windsorhillsrent site for last minute WH specials.
