Stay, Park and Fly out of Detroit

We are looking for a good price for a stay, park and fly out of Detroit. We will need to park for 9 days and since its an early morning flight we'd like to stay the night before and catch a shuttle to the airport. Any suggestions?

We did this a couple of years ago and it worked out great. Last year I got the Westin (right in the new terminal) from priceline and we just parked in the Big Blue Deck. That worked out well too but was more money that when we stayed and parked off-site. It seems I just saw something on the news that they (not sure who the "they" was) were passing something that would not allow you to do that (stay and park at the hotel) anymore. It said it would be advertised as that but that in the AM you would still have to move your car to one of the regular lots (like Quikpark, Airlines Parking or one of the others). You could not leave it at the hotel and have the hotel shuttle take you to your terminal anymore. That defeats the whole purpose! I'm gonna do some checking and hopefully someone is still doing it the old way. Anyone know about this?

We are staying at the Hilton Garden Inn when we fly out in September. Parking is included with your room for 10 nights, and we are paying $119. You need to park your car at a lot next door, but we do that right after check in and dinner, so in the morning all we have to do is get our luggage down to the hotel shuttle and head to the airport.

I don't feel it's that much different than parking at the hotel itself, as it's just a shuttle ride without luggage back to your hotel. Unfortunately, I don't know of any hotels that let you park at their lots for an extended time. My manager lives up there, so I will check with her and see if she knows of any, then check back in here.
