Please excuse me if im asking stuff alreay covered? My "search" isnt picking up halloween info for some weird reason.

We are staying at the RPR on Fri 19th and Sat 20th Oct. ainly so we get FOTL access for our 4 yr old daughter. HOWEVER...... DH now fancys the Adult Halloween party at IOA... sorry dont know what its called?

Is it on over this weekend?
Can we book our daughter into the Kids club at the RPR?
Anyone done this ? What is it like? safety, how many staff etc
How much was the charge for child care?

Lastly I thought I read about "houses" sorry what does this mean?

ANY info, please..........Im not tooo sure but DH really wants to go. Do you go to do the rides in the dark, or for the"theming".

Thanks

The Halloween Party is called Halloween Horror Nights, and last I heard .. it wasn't specificed whether it would be at IOA, US, or both.
Generally, every Friday/Saturday in October will have HHN, and usually all Sundays except Opening Weekend. As it comes closer to the release date of info (July or August), you'll know what dates are good, though Friday/Sat the 19th and 20th should have HHN.

And houses means Halloween Horror Nights houses, or "attractions".

While some rides may or may not be open, most do it for the Halloween Horror Nights scare houses.

Thanks Folader...... whats in these houses? Sorry I need to know, so I dont look too much of a whimp with DH LOL!

Can people jump out and get you??? I might wet my knickers ! :rotfl2:

There be monsters in them there hills.

A good site for HHN info, besides the official one, is HHNVault.com.

LOL, oh you will wet your trousers alright!! LOL the event is called Halloween Horror Nights - it can be scary ! there are live actors that will charge out from behind plants or rubbish bins - quite fun!! :thumbsup2
there are Houses - they are like haunted houses that you walk through, but they are made by people who make movies - imagine intense makeup on the actors & wonderfully detailed scenery - check out Universals Web page 1st - it's www.halloweenhorrornights.com -

sorry, no kids, so no idea about babysitters !! :confused3

EDIT: ok sorry have to add this - the "scareactors" cannot touch you (nor can you touch them) but they will be "in your face" - if you like being scared this is ace - but you didn't tell me if you like being scared or not ......

Yep, they will jump out and "get you" but as said, they will not touch you and you aren't suppose to touch them either. They might accidently, as I've had one bump into me because it was so dark in one house. It's basically haunted houses you walk through, one last year was "The Skool" which was basically a school you walked through, with people jumping out at you and attempting to scare you. It's all in good fun.

They will even chase after you with chainsaws...but not put one finger on you.. If you scare easy, it can be frighning. I know my dd's friend scared easy & she was nearly crying. I had to carry her out of one house (Fun House)
