Stay at BCV or BWV?

We've only been to our home resort (OKW) and to VB. I'm wanting to plan a stay in a two bedroom for a few days in the next few months. I'm wondering what the opinions are between BCV and BWV. Are both resorts going to have the same size rooms? Does one resort seem to stand above the other with location, decor, etc? I'm assuming BWV will offer more in the way of nightlife?

Thanks for the help.

I like looking out on the balcony and seeing Spaceship Earth - this was great at the BCV.

the 1-bedroom master bedroom has a desk in at BCV. the connecting doors at BCV are in a better place (my opinion) and I happen to love EPCOT!!!!

you can walk over to the BW and enjoy it at night - but only BCV has access to SALB.

which park do you like the best - if Epcot go with BCV - if Studios go with BWV.

but if you are trying to go in the wine/food festavial good luck finding anything.

now if you are talking about September - everything is probably still available.

SInce you're looking at a 2br, I will point out what we have observed, since that's what we always reserve...

At BWV, there is no "dedicated" 2 br. You get a studio and a 1 br, hooked together. This can be good (folks in the 2nd br get their own little fridge and microwave and outside access door...) and it can be bad (I have small kids... can't exactly put them by themselves in a room they could readily escape from, without me even knowing it!!) Also -- the kitchenette takes up space that could be utilized for storage, etc. (as it is in a dedicated).

BWV and BCV are roughly the same size.

BCV has option of a dedicated, some with 2 queen beds in 2nd br -- BWV does not (has the studio set-up of a queen and dble sleeper sofa).

BCV has SAB... but SAB is like a mini-water park. If you have small kids and want to relax, you may find yourself exahausted trying to keep track of your crew there!

BWV has Luna Park -- if the word "IT" and S. King novels have no relevance for you, you should be fine. Otherwise -- it might creep you out. Just keep in mind -- the clown is spitting the people OUT, not gobbling them up. And on a positive note, you can pretty much see everything going on at Luna Park, no chasing kids around the sidewalk / ship, acres of pool... it's a big pool with an open layout, yet with shady spots as well. And unlike SAB, no sand. (Personally, sand is yuckee, but to each their own.)

If you have the option of securing a std view, BWV could save on pts. OTherwise, you're looking at the same pts system between a BWV preferred and BCV.

I share your conflict -- we debated for a long time, and still have to keep re-weighing our choice as we get ready to make our ressies soon. We've elected to try BWV for our next visit, but we're hoping for a std view (11 mos out) and we want to see what we "own" (we are BWV but thus far haven't been able to break free from OKW and VWL!)

I think the biggest difference between the 2 is SAB...the main pool at the BC. IMHO, they are both essentially within walking distance to Epcot, the BW, and MGM. If you REALLY like a fabulous pool area, then stay at the BCV. If it doesn't matter, then stay where the points are cheaper. Are the BWV standard view a little less than BCV???

My understanding is that you really need the home resort option to be able to get a standard view room,
