We will be arriving on April 24 for 8 nights.

1)I am wondering if Paradise Bay is all filled up. When we went in August it was a construction zone.

2) Also how bad does it look with Rivers of America dry? Does anyone think they might start filling it during the April 24 - May 1 timeframe. It'll probably start filling the day we leave :confused3 DH seriously wanted to reschedule when I told him ROA empty.... I'm more upset that DD4 won't get to play on the island. No such luck as an early opening on that huh???

Most of the 'other' boards are reporting May 6th as the opening date. But hey,you never know. :confused3

It doesn't look too bad. They have this big teal green fencing around it but you can still see over it when you are by pirates or HM. It looks like a pale rock. They were painting the island stage areas. The boats are both on the HM side. The MT is close to the rails and it is covered up pretty well, but it is easy to tell it is the MT. The Columbia is further down by splash and is not really covered up. There are a few white pickups parked in the river along with various construction equip. Its not horrible but you can tell its a construction site.

If your DH seriously wanted to reschedule and you're upset about your DD not being able to experience the island, then why don't you reschedule? :confused3 I wouldn't bank on it being filled early. What's sad about it being down is that it will cut into some fun activities that your DD4 can do.
