Staterooms with Verandah question

My family is planning on going on the Disney Wonder 4 day cruise summer 2004 for our 15th Wedding Anniversary. How is the door to the verandah secured? Lock on top? Also, anything special for anniversaries?

yes, if i am remembering correctly you lock the door at the top.

Also let your TA know, or the maitre' d know that an anniversary is being celebrated, and they will take care of arrangements in the dining room with waiters singing happy anniversary, and with a special dessert cake.

We could never figure out how to lock the verandah door...we turned the knob all ways and none of them locked the door so ours stayed unlocked the whole trip. The door is so heavy though that my 3 year old could never had opened it on her own.
