Starting WW this week

I went back to WW on Monday after almost a year. I normally weigh in on Saturdays but with the kids schedule this last one I couldn't--and I had Monday off. I will go weigh in on 1/31 to start the Saturday routine.
I weigh 194. I am 5 feet 7 inches tall. I am 5 lb. over where I was last time I started. I need to lose 18 lbs. to get to the weight I was when I got pregnant with DS--38 lb. to get where I was when I got pregnant with DD#2--and 45 lb.to get where I was when I got pregnant with DD#1! Of course that was 12 1/2 years ago so it may not be realistic!
My short-term (5 1/2 month) goal is to lose 30 lbs. for my cruise this summer. I would eventually like to lose 40 lbs. total.
I have been following my points for 2 days and doing well, but not exercising because I've been having headaches (not diet related). DH is also joining this weekend to help me out.

Good luck, Robin. I am also doing WW and really like it. It's funny you mention having a headache, I had one this evening before going to Curves and I did not have one afterwards.

I too am doing WW. I find it very easy and I don't feel like I'm on a "diet". I eat what I want, just smaller portions and not all at the same time/day!:crazy:

I think your goal is a good one, very "doable". I am hoping for a 25 lb weight loss by June. No big vacation or anything, just my kids Field day for school. It is at the local Y, in the POOL.:earseek: I'm hoping to look halfway decent by then!

There are quite a few of us on here that are doing WW, so ask away if you have questions, or just need support. The important thing is to just keep going. Set yourself some mini-goals instead of looking at the full chunk of weight you want to lose. Maybe 1st goal is to get back to what you weighed before last child, and then work your way backwards. You can do it!!!
