Hi Guys! We are going to the parks July 21-23, which means Mon and Wed are DCA EE days. I know we should start at DL on Monday......but I'm more focused on getting RSR FP! This is my plan of action, let me know what you think:

Enter at regular park opening.
Grab RSR FP
Head to TSMM (How bad will the line be?)
Screamin stand by
Goofy's Sky School
Mickey's fun wheel
Mater's
Luigis

Hoping RSR FP return time is before 11AM so we can grab another FP before they run out. We cannot do SR as we have DS4 and DS6, otherwise we would bypass FP entirely.

Any help/tips are appreciated. I was more sure of this plan before I found out RSR are connected now. TIA!

We pretty much did this on one of our mornings at DCA(early June) and it worked well. I had no trouble getting 2 sets of FP in a day BUT we were at the gates very early, close to an hour before park opening. We showed up that early to make sure I was at the rope for RD so my FP return time was early. You could probably get away with 45 min. early to the gates. Send your FP runner quickly to the rope on the far left side. You will have your FP within a couple minutes after RD and be on your way to the Pier. Meet your group there and continue on with your plans there. TSMM will still be walk on or very short wait.

You may have to save Luigi and Mater for later in the day. But we found during the Parade was a great time to ride these 2 rides with short lines. I have also read that late in the evening the lines shorten up quite a bit as well.

Good to know! They don't let you in the gates early at all on EE day correct (since we won't have EE)? They let you in right at opening time which would be 8AM?

Happy to hear about TSMM too. I'm not totally set on doing Mater's and Luigis at that point, was just thinking what to fill in while we wait for our RS FP return time.

Is the PP talking about a day with NO EMH??...sure does appear that way...

Anywhooo ~ Crystal, I have experienced the gates open about 30 minutes prior to opening for non EMH guests at an EMH park. They do a rope drop for them as well. I do not think they are able to line up for an RSR FP early (I read they stopped doing that, which seems pretty dumb in my opinion..too much chaos).
I would pull the RSR FP first. Head to TSMM and imagine that you will have some sort of wait...I do not think after the park has been open an hour that this ride would be a walk on. Screamin' could be a walk on or little wait...Same with Mickey's Fun Wheel and GSS. I would go to MJJ and LFT when I am in the Cars Land area.

Thanks Girimama33! I was wondering how they do that with a mix of EE and non EE guests. Sounds great! I don't mind waiting a bit for TSMM, just trying to avoid 45 min + waits. That queue is brutal!

Definitely head that way as soon as you have your RSR FP...I would hope it would not be more than 30 minutes at that time. Hopefully by then, most EMH folks already rode TSMM.

Have you been to DHS? TSMM is at DCA is a cake walk compared to the one in Florida. It is easily as popular as RSR at that park. Something about TSMM and Soarin' are probably the two most popular attractions at WDW. It's crazy.

I would head to Racers FP then over to toy story. My guess would be a 20-30 minute wait depending on crowds. You might get lucky and it be less. Everything else on the pier will be nearly a walk on. After you are done on the pier, grab another racers pass if you can and then enjoy the glory that is carsland. You should have good luck with this strategy as long as the crowds are too insane and they don't all line up for fastpasses. Another good time for toy story is during world of color. The rest of the pier is shut down do most people assume it is too plus by then the sun is down and the weather feels cooler.
